ALBUM IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER

By Jason LeBlanc

Here is a simple chronological order you can do without editing tracks.

01 The Adventures of Tintin (3:04)
03 The Secret of the Scrolls (3:13)
05 Marlinspike Hall (3:59)
04 Introducing the Thompsons and Snowy’s Chase (4:08)
06 Escape from the Karaboudjan (3:21)
08 Captain Haddock Takes the Oars (2:17)
11 The Flight to Bagghar (3:33)
07 Sir Francis and the Unicorn (5:05)
10 Capturing Mr. Silk (2:58)
09 Red Rackham’s Curse and the Treasure (6:10)
12 The Milanese Nightingale (1:30)
13 Presenting Bianca Castafiore (3:28)
14 The Pursuit of the Falcon (5:43)
15 The Captain’s Counsel (2:10)
16 The Clash of the Cranes (3:48)
17 The Return to Marlinspike Hall and Finale (5:51)
18 The Adventure Continues (2:58)
02 Snowy’s Theme (2:10)

If you want to use sound editing software, you can make a more accurate chronological order this way:

01 The Adventures of Tintin (3:04)
03a The Secret of the Scrolls [0:00-1:34] (1:34)
03c The Secret of the Scrolls [2:28-3:13] (0:45)
03b The Secret of the Scrolls [1:34-2:28] (0:53)
05b Marlinspike Hall [0:14-3:59] (3:45)
04 Introducing the Thompsons and Snowy’s Chase (4:08)
08a “Introducing Haddock” [0:00-0:38] (0:38)
05a “The Radio Room” [0:00-0:14] (0:14)
06 Escape from the Karaboudjan (3:21)
10b Capturing Mr. Silk [1:03-2:58] (1:55)
11 The Flight to Bagghar (3:33)
08b Captain Haddock Takes the Oars [0:38-2:17] (1:39)
07 Sir Francis and the Unicorn (5:05)
10a “A Sober Haddock” [0:00-1:03] (1:03)
09 Red Rackham’s Curse and the Treasure (6:10)
12 The Milanese Nightingale (1:30)
13 Presenting Bianca Castafiore (3:28)
14 The Pursuit of the Falcon (5:43)
15 The Captain’s Counsel (2:10)
16 The Clash of the Cranes (3:48)
17 The Return to Marlinspike Hall and Finale (5:51)
18 The Adventure Continues (2:58)
02 Snowy’s Theme (2:10)

However this creates a very jarring listening experience as you have cues cut-off without going anywhere. I recommend only splitting track 10 with a WAV editor and leaving the rest joined, but re-organized per the first list.

NOTE: In the film, “Snowy’s Theme” actually plays before “The Adventure Continues” in the end credits; However, in order to listen to them that way, you will have to use sound editing software; The reason is that “The Adventure Continues” overlaps the end of “The Return to Marlinspike Hall and Finale” on the CD, actually beginning during the final second of that track.
