Prequel Trilogy music update
#1

If someone could tell me which files have music that's not on any OST, that would be great! Then I can delete the stuff that's completely found on an OST. I tried to weed out most of the original trilogy music...hopefully I got it all.
Thanks,
~SKy
I've got the following music from these games currently:
Battle for Naboo
Galactic Battlegrounds
Galaxies (original game, 1st expansion, patches for 2nd expansion, but not the expansion itself)
Jedi Power Battles
Jedi Starfighter
Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 (no jw music - but some good stuff)
Lego
Obi-Wan
Racer
Repbulic Commando
Starfighter
The Clone Wars (i don't have the music from the movies yet)
The Phantom Menace
***I have Battlefront, but I can't figure out how to extract the music.
***Super Bombad racing does NOT have any jw music. It's really really crappy, so I didn't even bother to save it
Still looking for the following and will be trying to acquire them this week...
Episode 1: Insider's Guide
Pit Droids
Gungan Frontier
Demolition
Racer Revenge
Bounty Hunter
Jedi Academy
Revenge of the Sith
Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees
Empire at War
Battlefront II

"swg_intro_movie_rough"
Since these were just the patch files, I wonder if there will be more ep3 music if you by the actual game itself.
Also, is anyone able to go through any other files for me in any/all of the other games that I have up there and tell me which stuff is not on the OSTs so I can delete any files that are not unique to the games?
Thanks,
~SKy

'Ryatt Trail' I recognise - but I can't pick where in the film I heard it. It's probably for me the most interesting unreleased cue here with its string ostinato and low brass murmurings.
'Droid Cave' comes from the Opera Scene. Possibly the second half. No statement of the Emperor's Theme here.
'Oktikuti City' is the fanfare material following the landing of the ship I think. (Cue 2M3 'Another Happy Landing'.)
'Elder's Hut' is the extended end to the Lament cue, starting with Yoda's escape.
'Rodian Safari' is an extension of the material in 'Palpatine's Teachings' from the OST. There are some familiar moments here.
'Dead Forest' seems to be an edit of parts of 'Anakin's Dark Deeds' and something else I haven't heard on the OST.

It's AOTC music.'Oktikuti City' is the fanfare material following the landing of the ship I think. (Cue 2M3 'Another Happy Landing'.)

It's been a long time for me, but isn't it the music when Anakin and Obi-Wan are in the elevator and then greeted by Jar Jar?Fromm where in AOTC?

They just updated Galaxies today with new patches. There was one new music file and I just uploaded it now.

Sounds like an alternate of "Anakin's Dark Deeds." But the percussion sounds sort of synthesized, maybe added by the sound department (of Lucasfilm OR LucasArts).
EDIT: The added music kind of coincides with Anakin's taunting in the novelization:
"We were promised a handsome reward!"
"I am your reward. You don't find my handsome?"
"You're Anakin Skywalker!"
"The resemblance is deceptive."

'Ryratt Trail' could be the last half of 4M3 Palpatine's Seduction (which segues to 4M4 - Rolling with Grievous).
'Rodian Safari' is the last part of 3M1 Council Meeting, underscoring Anakin and Obi-Wan's discussion in the hallway.
'Oktituki City' is unreleased music from Attack of the Clones underscoring Obi-Wan and Anakin arriving at Padme's apartment. There may be some unused material here - Anakin's theme is curiously absent.
'Droid Cave' is the last part of 3M3 Palpatine's Big Pitch, the tale of Darth Plagueis.
'Quest Escort Arrival 01' and 'Quest Escort Arrival 02' may be a sections of 7M2 Anakin Crawling.
'Quest Found Lost Treasure' - I have no idea. Help!
'Quest Theme Docking 01' - Variation of the Emperor's theme. Anakin Crawling again?
'Quest Theme Docking 02' - No idea again.
'Quest Theme Opening 01- No idea.
'Quest Theme Opening 02' - No idea.
More to come!

'Rodian Quest Success' 0:00-0:23 Unidentified fanfare.
0:23-0:50 The Meadow Picnic from Clones.
'Rodian Quest Accept' Another unidentified fanfare. May be a part of the one above.
'Trandoshan Quest Accept' - Is this the end of 3M6 Going to Utapau?
'Wookiee Quest Fail' - No idea.

"Elder's Hut" is the extended part of 5M3 Lament and the rest of the cue (unfortunately, it's not easy to edit this with the full Lament).
"Wookiee Quest Success" is the Coruscant fanfare, then 2M3 Another Happy Landing.
'Rodian Quest Accept' Another unidentified fanfare. May be a part of the one above.
It's an edit of 6M3 Padme's Visit. It starts when we see Padme's ship approaching Mustafar for a landing (so the tense note at the beginning when it shows up on scanners is not included), and cuts out right before Across the Stars.
'Rodian Quest Success' 0:00-0:23 Unidentified fanfare.
Sounds similar to 6M3 Padme's Visit, yes. But there's nothing in the film concerning Padme's journey that this would fit. However, the fact there is only one short Vader/Palpatine scene between Padme's departure and her arrival suggests that something was cut... so this may be travelling music. A jump to hyperspace, perhaps.
UPDATE: It is a jump to Hyperspace! I went to Episode III today and brought a CD player with me (with this music). It's an alternate of 3M5 Goodbye Old Friend, the part in which the grand version of the Force Theme plays. The quieter music as the starfighter disappears and the segue to Anakin's nightmare are the same in both versions. If this scene was rescored with the Force Theme, then what a great rescoring! It's up there with "Binary Sunset."
All the "quest" music is from Jeremy Soule's "Knights of the Old Republic." It is all from cutscenes, not previously released gameplay music, for those interested!
'Ryratt Trail' could be the last half of 4M3 Palpatine's Seduction (which segues to 4M4 - Rolling with Grievous).
The end of it is, but most of this cue is not used in the film. I wonder then, if the Emperor's Theme is tracked into this scene, or if it was rescored. I also wonder if the Republic gunship scene was rescored, because the end of "Palpatine's Teachings" fits it perfectly.
'Rodian Safari' is the last part of 3M1 Council Meeting, underscoring Anakin and Obi-Wan's discussion in the hallway.
Can you identify the part at the end that replaces the Coruscant fanfare?
'Droid Cave' is the last part of 3M3 Palpatine's Big Pitch, the tale of Darth Plagueis.
But the ending note is from Anakin and Padme's conversation - "No, I promise you." This probably means it was tracked into that conversation in the film.
'Trandoshan Quest Accept' - Is this the end of 3M6 Going to Utapau?
It's an edit of that. It starts with Obi-Wan's starfighter coming out of Hyperspace, then cuts to his starfighter taking off (without him). The ending note is the beginning of "General Grievous."
'Wookiee Quest Fail' - No idea.
Me neither. It sure does seem like a "specific" cue, although it's probably way truncated. I'm pretty sure this isn't in the film, but what COULD it underscore?
Does any of this sound like it could be for the Anakin's Jedi Temple entrance before order 66? Which game are these from?
I don't think so. These are from Star Wars Galaxies.

I was just gonna say that and you beat me to it!All the "quest" music is from Jeremy Soule's "Knights of the Old Republic." It is all from cutscenes, not previously released gameplay music, for those interested!
And just for clarification on 'Oktituki City', the Episode II clip, it's exactly as it appears in the film starting with the Anakin/Obi-Wan elevator conversation until the end of the cue, except for the statement of Anakin's Theme at the end.

By the way someone was asking about the Platform Finale...from 0:00-0:06 is when Grievous opens his arms after he grabs the lightsabers and before he ignites them when he fights Obi-Wan on Utapau....
Same cue but from 0:59-1:21 is right after the Clones arrive and we hear that eerie music we hear when they do a close up of Grievous's eyes...
