I know most won't care about this, as doesn't feature any Williams composition, still it's a wonderful concert :)

We'll Paint You a Rainbow, featuring Williams' Elegy (w/Lynn Harrell) and Over...

15 April 2013 - 10:23 AM

The Lynn Harrell benefit album as finally been released and includes a new recording of Williams' Elegy for Cello and Orchestra, with Harrell backed up by the Angeli Ensemble, conducted by Michael Nowak.

The final track is an arrangement of Arlen's immortal "Over the Rainbow", arranged by Randy Kerber for soprano, piano, cello and orchestra, which Williams conducted for the recording.

The CD can be bought from here, though they will only ship within the United States territory. I did ask, and while they were kind to check, the overseas shipping charges are just insane :(

For everyone else interested, the album is available at iTunes.
