What Live To Projection concerts have you seen and not seen?
Mr. Breathmask replied to Jay's topic in General Discussion
I finally got to see How to Train Your Dragon at the Concertgebouw in June. It was fantastic. Such a great score. And after having seen both Fellowship and Two Towers live twice, I finally get to cap it off with seeing Return of the King live for the first time in Antwerp next month. Really looking forward to it! -

Good point. But that wouldn't get me Superman or Minority Report, which I both finally picked up when I ordered On Her Majesty's Secret Service last month. -

Those Bond expansions are going to make me poor. Mostly because I keep ordering other stuff with them to "save" on shipping. 😅 -

Is The Penthouse the short cue for Superman's approach to Lois' balcony? Because yup, that's in the 8mm reel. Of course, everything from the moment he lands is covered with dialogue. -

I have it scanned to HD somewhere. I could check. -
I saw The Final Reckoning last Friday. Good Lord, it was bad. There are two absolutely spectacular stunt sequences in it, but everything around it is JABOSH. It's uneven, poorly paced, and waaaaay to expository and repetittive. I hated that the whole biplane sequence was almost a beat-for-beat copy of the climax of Fallout. It shredded the last bit of goodwill I had toward the film and completely undercut the excitement of seeing all the amazing stunt work. I came out of the theatre ranking this the lowest in the franchise. And that's below M:i-2 (at least that one is campy fun), so that's saying a lot. Time to put this franchise to rest.

I had expected him to be crying or scared on the plane as it was his first time flying. He was mostly fascinated by everything he saw. He then slept through most of the flight. He was also very entertained by everything we saw as we were waiting around on the airport or waiting for our transfer shuttle. I was worried that could be something of a hassle. Sure, he was tired by the end, but all in all it went really well. Looking back, the whole first-time anxiety was more on my end than his. Live and learn. Oh, for context: he just turned two.

Menorca was nice. Our son did really well during the journey too! We had some nice weather and good food and I tried scuba diving for the first time. Pretty cool experience. Good time all in all. The next destination was going to be Berlin, but that's off the table now that Williams is not attending. So next up: our surprise trip for our wedding anniversary. Huzzah!
