  1. Just ordered from Movie Music: Monsignor Images Amazing Stories Anthologies 1 and 3 The Witches of Eastwick A score whose price was far higher than I would ever otherwise pay... This is round 1 of a beating my bank account will be taking over the next few weeks when I also order Superman: The Music, Black Sunday and possibly a few other limited editions.
  2. Thanks for the heads up Foxfan. I had no idea this was even going down tonight.
  3. I'm in the chatroom right now if anyone'd care to join me.
  4. Star Wars Main Title concluded. Now words from John Williams and then Suite from Jane Eyre. This is awesome.
  5. I agree. I like QoS, but the action scenes are constantly exactly as you described. That entire ending scene in general is where the movie falls apart for me. It seems to be going somewhere and then shit just blows up, Bond finds whats-his-name and I guess that's it? I enjoy the rest of the movie though.
  6. I just want to go on record saying the Richard Donner cut of Superman II is a worse film.
  7. I was told the program earlier this week included the following: Sound the Bells 1941 March CE3K Suite Hedwig's Theme Harry's Wondrous World Adventures On Earth Liberty Fanfare Love Theme from Superman Superman March Cinema Paradiso Love Theme Imperial March Princess Leia's Theme Throne Room and Finale Raiders March Apparently during Superman there were clips from all the Superman and Batman movies (held over from the Warner Bros. tribute last Summer?) including Keaton in the library in Batman Returns when the signal is projected behind him. It sounded amazing. I was planning to go tonight but tickets sold out. I'm going to Tanglewood in August!
  8. Yeah it got recalled because of an audio defect. Still need that one and Minority Report. Will pick up in the next couple weeks when it's re-available. Today I picked up Twilight Zone the Movie (9.99 Best Buy). I looked for Poltergeist and it was MIA. Another one I wanted is Towering Inferno, no luck in actual stores.
  9. I hope you gave her a kiss for this. I mean, a real kiss.
  10. There is no unreleased HP music on the DVD menus. I tried that. We need word on whether Universal is playing unreleased music at Potterland.
  11. Speaking of Jaws, I thought some people here might get a kick out of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kZNb7-omUE
  12. It's Tink taking Peter to Neverland and dripping pixie dust onto the couple kissing on the bridge. I could tell from the thumbnail.
  13. I'm still holding out for a return of bald piano-playing skull tattoo guy for the next one! By the way Generations is on AMC in HD (a channel I'd otherwise never recommend viewing). I just saw the Enterprise battle with the Klingons and I can't tell you how badly I now desire all the Star Trek movies (1-10) on Blu-ray.
  14. This is what it sounds like to listen to AOTC on CD: Hissssssssssssssssss
  15. That's true. Although they do fall into "bottomless pits" as mortals and Superman doesn't make any apparent effort to rescue them. Maybe there's water at the bottom like what Skeletor falls into. I feel 8 years old again thinking about this stuff.
  16. JP could have all fit onto the CD. That's an early example of me wanting music that wasn't on the soundtrack. I'd also like that visitor's center tour temp score source music.
  17. Return to Oz is cool. That's one of the rare non-JW scores I desire at this point. I love that really haunting melody (the main theme) when Dorothy is suddenly in an ocean on her way to Oz with the moonlight.
  18. LOL! There's always at least one of them. Even in casual conversation if my love of JW comes up, someone occasionally calls him out. "All his music sounds the same." Huh? Then obligatory note to self to never hang around these people again.
  19. I had Jurassic Park and Star Wars pogs and ones that came with Star Trek: The Next Generation figures but were called "Space Caps". I still have some of the Star Trek ones sealed in baggies with the figures.
  20. I like the Lost in Space anniversary CD as well. Are the other CD volumes worth getting?
