Gruesome Son of a Bitch got a reaction from Unlucky Bastard in Always cue titles
I imagine once the complete score is released everyone here will suddenly change their tune after 30 years (20 in the case of the millennial and Gen Z twits) and adore it.
"The most underrated Spielberg/Williams collaboration?"
"Almost as great as Harry Potter"

Gruesome Son of a Bitch got a reaction from TSMefford in Junkie XL's JUSTICE LEAGUE (2021)
Kids these days don't even know who JW is unless they're trying to be ironic hipsters and reject their generation's music. Who needs this Billy Eyelash, Taylor Swift and "Insert Mumble Hip Hop Artist" when I got the Snow Battle and Main Title over here!

Ford could have been quite good in KOTCS as we saw in that Di$ney SW movie, but it was such a disaster overall and his performance was pretty lame. Lots of terrible ADR where he sounded unenthused and lackluster. Just not Indy. Not Ford, really.

I'm vegan but I usually don't pass judgement on meat eaters, at least not seriously.

I agree with you 100% in what you've said regarding KOTCS and Indy 5. But some guys here you'll never convince because they're just looking for any excuse to prod John Williams to keep doing his old schtick, even though everything that needs to be said musically has been said. And bafflingly, ones like Thor envision Indy as, what, a series of arthouse films? It's amazing how willing some people are to stretch something beyond what it is by stubbornly imagining what it simply is not.

Seven of Nine saved that show. I fancied her on Sunday evenings at tool time.

I've been rewatching the original Universal Monster movies whenever I can. This weekend I knocked out Dracula and Frankenstein. All of these classic movies are better than all other versions. It's not just that they're rather perfectly made, have the most iconic and clearly best versions of these characters there ever will be, 70 minute or so absolutely glorious running time, but the fact that they're so old and made as early as the 30s (or 20s in the case of Phantom of the Opera) makes them cooler somehow. The disastrous Dark Universe or whatever the hell Universal recently attempted was a real monster. All you really need are the original movies, although some fun remakes and spinoffs have been made.

Anyone else prefer Ghostbusters II to the original?
