  1. 1) Far and Away 2) Hook 3) ET 4) Chamber of Secrets 5) Empire Strikes Back 6) Raiders of the Lost Ark 7) Jaws 8) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone 9) Amistad 10) The Cowboys
  2. I enjoyed the insulting of Horner! How true they are though. Although violent, so is the show, but most shows now are even cartoons. You see guns and stuff all of the time, but the difference is cartoons don't die which is telling kids the wrong thing, because people do die from guns. I enjoyed it and could picture it the whole way. You should write for comedies. Brandon
  3. I agree!!! I liked the Patriot, and can't wait for Minority Port to come out. I have to ask for it for a really early birthday present or something. What is up with people not liking The Patriot score? I thought it was fine...
  4. I chose Summon The Heros, mainly because I like that song a lot. All of Tim's solos are great though and as a fellow trumpet player I enjoy them a lot. Brandon
  5. Sorry I believe that Harry Potter and LOTR special effects were good, but I'm not Mr. Picky so most are fine for me. Spiderman was good but at first the special effects bothered me, but I got used to it and although it wasn't the best special effects they worked for the movie. (It was great) Brandon
  6. That's cool.... In Mid-Michigan we have a station called 92.1 the Edge which is more punk rock and heavy metal. It is cool when they talk about how movies of that week are doing in theaters, because they play the Raiders of the Lost Ark theme in the background! Brandon
  7. I chose the AOTC, because I think it is very beautifully written. But if you listen to it closely the beginning sounds simmilar to the Raiders of the Lost Ark love theme. It is still way different so I think it is better than the others, maybe because it is the newest, but I haven't herd Superman's love theme that much (I have yet to get the CD). Brandon
  8. I chose Han, because it would be interesting to see what Williams would write for him. Besides Han is one of my most favorite Star Wars characters. Brandon
  9. That is the same reason why I can't be a composter This has got to be the best one. Again, Nice job! Ray and I want you to teach us in 12th grade here, because the guy here won't let us do another John Williams show for marching band (we did one a few years ago, but Ray and I were playing second part which is no fun since we already knew at least how it should be played because we hear it all of the time) We played Indiana Jones which I knew most of the fingerings for anyway, ET which I would have memorized in two seconds, and Far And Away which again if I had first part I would have memorized in two seconds. Anyway, We asked him many times to have another one and I think as seniors we should be able to have some say in what we play. A lot of our band wanted to do a John Williams show, but he wouldn't listen and now we are doing some Latin Stuff. Which has many trumpet solos (which is good for me) but John Williams' trumpet solos would have been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Please come and teach us, at least next year.....
  10. I agree it made absolutely no sense....This was really funny, althought the language was rather bad and I didn't enjoy that as much. A little bad language I don't mind but that was pretty bad. The best change is during the love scene when all of the people look down at their tickets to make sure they are at the right movie. I felt the same way when I watched the movie, lol. Brandon
  11. I picked the Sub scene too! I always have to listen to it twice, when I listen to that CD. Brandon
  12. I agree....Hook is great! As far as changing scores, I don't think so. I like them as they are. They seemed to work not to mention they are John Williams original thoughts and therefore need no changes, because they are the best. Although, some of those changes would be interesting to hear. My ranking 1) Return of the Jedi 2) Empire Strikes back 3) New Hope 4) Attack of the Clones 5) Phantom Menace Brandon
  13. I eventually chose ANH - Obiwan tells Luke to "Use the Force!" during the Trench Run, because even before I knew who John Williams and was a big fan of his, during one of my first times watching it, I herd the force theme then and no other time stuck out, so it sticks out to me. Brandon
  14. that he looks fine in the picture, although I've seen better pictures of him. The way the lighting is and the picture angle makes him look a little different than usual and I've never seen him in sun glasses so that is different, but I can't see John Williams as doing something bad, even in this picture. Brandon
  15. Why didn't my teachers do something like that for me? That would have been cool. I second how it is great for the kids to use there imagination, and of course get them used to John Williams. Brandon
