  1. I assumed this was some kind of pre-recorded medley of music of Smee playing his concertina, which wasn't ultimately used in the film as he doesn't play one in the movie. Or some such. So much new material on this set to explore.
  2. Amen! I think the truly complete version of this score has been on so many holy grail lists of JWFans for so long time. Wonderful to finally see it coming true. And in such a comprehensive manner. Bless you folks at La-La Land and everybody involved in producing this set!
  3. Very typically to many Horner expansions the unreleased material is mostly the shorter cues between the classic mammoth Horner pieces that run 5+ minutes and ended up on the OST. Looking forward to hearing this in full form. While I may not be the biggest fan of the faux Spanish/Mexican (more on the Spanish side actually) stylings Horner is using in his music it is a fun swashbuckling action/adventure score.
  4. Well since the LLL Black Friday batch was so excellent I had to get: And this one from Quarter Records as I missed out on the previous expanded versions:
  5. Wow! Amazing! Rejoice! I can't believe Mike got to include all the Bricusse songs as well. Now that's comprehensive!
  6. Yes the title is so long to avoid the heart attacks among JWFanners. It had to be Jay. To avoid those heart attacks when Indy or Star Wars is concerned. You have to give away the plot in the thread title. So people know to be disappointed even before reading the actual thread.
  7. Disney is releasing a new CD collection in 2024. It repackages the Concord programmes of Raiders, Temple of Doom and Last Crusade plus the OSTs of Crystal Skull and Dial of Destiny. The box is up for pre-order and will ship in March 2024. The price is whopping $ 149,99! https://www.disneymusicemporium.com/product/XVCD64/indiana-jones-the-complete-cd-collection?cp=null
  8. My status is now (as of 15th of November) "Parcel order manifested, ready for export". Whatever that means. I wager it will take another month for it to get here. But hey at least it's moving.
  9. Ordered my CD on August 25th, it was shipped 2nd of November and the last update was from Rutherford NJ, US on the 10th of November.
  10. I live in Finland and I haven't gotten any updates in the tracking since 2nd of November either.
  11. Yeah. it is pretty anticlimactic. And depressing that even someone as big as John Williams' doesn't automatically receive a world wide release of their soundtrack album on CD anymore and we have to wait months for them to press new ones. Disney will have the enormous profit boost of JWFans buying the Blu-ray release of the film for the score-only track in December though.
  12. Ditto! It's great to have the entire Powell's magnum opus, the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy, in full form soon.
  13. I have to say I really like this album. These are simply some of JNH's best scores and while I wish he had reworked his music even more for this kind of setting as he basically had a free hand to do whatever he wanted, I have to admit that the arrangements are wonderful. And I think he chose to remain quite faithful to the originals while still adding new additional touches, passages and flourishes for the soloists. It is a lovely album and gave me even a new appreciation for After Earth which didn't previously do much for me but the new suite from the score is powerful and uplifting in a way I can't remember the OST ever being.
  14. Yeah and it irks me every time I listen to the film version to hear that flub.
  15. The status of my order says 8th of November as well. I'll just be grateful if the package ever arrives...
  16. Well I managed to pre-order a copy of this album now. Hopefully it will arrive by the end of the year.
