  1. I found this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CK-cnm8abE
  2. He didn't talk much. I remember him introducing the flute soloist before Pelléas et Mélisande and mainly joking about the children choir being distinguished guests and so on. He also said in German that in Vienna one needs to play a waltz before the Eiffel waltz, which I didn't know and found especially lovely. @hp_gof Thank you so much for the tracklist, I was hoping to revisit some of these pieces with a clear head ;-)
  3. Was anybody else there? There is surprisingly little discussion about this on the internet? Do you know if the concert was even recorded? I thought it was lovely and I would really like to hear these suites again.
  4. Does anyone know if there's an online queue system like in the Royal Albert Hall or if we're just supposed to wait for 9AM on the concert's page?
  5. Yes, I would like to know who that was too. I've listened to the other interviews and the only composer I remember discussing Williams was Desplat, so perhaps it was him. But as you mention, it sounds like something Zimmer would say.
  6. Same, I had been refreshing the event's page from 8am. Not sure if they put me in the queue when I logged in or if I had been tracked all along.
  7. @crumbs Thank you! I'm a long time lurker, so I've followed all the drama from the shadows. I'm already passed that phase, don't worry ;-) And I actually liked the score.
  8. @crumbs Haha you're right, I made this account about 6 years ago and I thought I had posted a little bit then, but nope
  9. I don't post here a lot, but I wanted to say thank you guys for helping me find out about the queue system 30 min early. I started out at 1000, but I managed to secure 2 pretty good seats in the stalls (M and L).
