  1. Hey everybody! I have news. The Indiana Jones sheets are underway, as well as The Peterson House and Finale. When I have them finished, I'll post them It might be for some time, though - only until I find a site that will keep my links up for download permanently. SendSpace unfortunately doesn't do that Also, I've been having some trouble lately accessing this site - right now, I was able to use a free, legal, and public proxy server at the moment. Otherwise, I can't access this site on any of my browsers or my Android phone. I've flushed my DNS cache. This site isn't blocked or restricted on my computer at all. Browser cookies are cleared, and I've restarted my devices and whatnot. No such luck, so I have no idea what the trouble is - can any of you possibly please help me with that?? By the way, I love the Jurassic Park transcriptions you've done, musicpete - spot on! Thanks very much; I look forward to trying these out one day!
  2. I saw it twice; once in IMAX 3D and the other time in standard 3D. Both conversions looked excellent!
  3. I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but I really hope this gets published because I want to play it in the future!! Does anyone know if this concert will be streaming on the Internet at all??
  4. Welcome Back !!!! You come back and i leave for a while : (well, i'll be still around but no music or very few). Big right hand and left Arm issue with a big % that i must go in chirurgy. so i delayed the release of my piano improvisation transcriptiob of Out Of Africa - i had a farm in africa, and my tribute to christopher reeve (can you read my mind + somewhere in time). the sheet are already done, but. i'll release them later. i'm forced to use most of the time now a vocal recognization software to write instead of me (lol... i didn't tried it yet with sibelius, but i'm sure it will be a nightmare (i use Dragon premium 12.5). ... so i lowered by 99% the time allowed to sibelius, and music and videos. so great that you're back ! plenty of tune to analyse when i'll come back too . i was working on the finale - end credits of last crusade. i just finished my arrangement on What Dreams May came. Twin Peaks is ready to be recorded since a long time ... but ... i asked to many people to transcribe Vader's Death, but still waiting. i don't desesperate . I have Vader's Death ready; once I fix the website and find a better way to put up links for all of you to download the piano sheet music, you'll have a chance to see what I've done. For example, THE BATTLE OF ENDOR IS FINISHED AND WILL BE READY AS SOON AS I PUT IT UP FOR DOWNLOAD.
  5. HI EVERYBODY; I HAVE RETURNED!!!! And I would like to say how terribly sorry I am to have been gone for so long. This was not on purpose or anything; there are actually a couple of reasons for my absence, mostly for reasons out of my hands - I'm actually a soon-to-be college student, so with graduating from high school and finishing up my last year there, I've been way too incredibly busy. I haven't had a chance to sit down and transcribe stuff for a very long time.Because I've been busy with that, I had forgotten my login information for this forum. Thank God for miracles, because today I found that information and thus I'm back! This forum has grown immensely since I started it a long time ago, and I'm proud and very happy to know that there are many of you out there who love these piano sheets. Thank you to all of you for your kind words and your continual support, even when I've been absent for so long! I give you all again my deepest apologies Therefore, I have a few announcements; Now that summer's back again, I'll have time to transcribe - so I'm getting back to doing that I don't know exactly what to start with yet though. If all of you could please do me a huge favor - can you comment on this forum again your requests and suggestions so that I can have an organized starting point and a good idea with what I want to start with? Also, I will unfortunately no longer be posting sheets here anymore I actually have a new website created where I can post this sheet music, located here: http://williamsmusiclover1138.blogspot.com/ It's been a while since I've updated it, and there are some links which have gone screwy, but in the next few days I'll be fixing that site in no time. All of the sheet music will be available there, and it'll be updated as quickly as I can on a much quicker basis now. Again, I'M BACK and I'll be back to work in no time! And thank you to all of you again!
  6. Thanks, everybody!! I'll do what I can! And speaking of which, I've got a little treat for you: With Malice Toward None - Piano Solo went up on YouTube, so I was finally able to listen to it in full like everyone else. It was beautiful. So here's the sheet so you can play along! Enjoy! WITH MALICE TOWARD NONE (PIANO SOLO) by John Williams
  7. hi ! very happy to see you !! well, me i released a new piano tribute, on hook : i did one on E.T too, still working on the video editing. ... anyway, i have a request as you ask ( ), i want to do a piano tribute to darth vader / the emperor and an another one to leia/luke/han, but i'm missing lead sheets. for it so i can do my arrangement (a lead sheet where i will improvise on it the whole tune). - the death of the emperor, - the death of vader (i have a very simple one found on a well known sharing website not sure if i can use it) , - the "emperor arrives" is incomplete on the songbook i think so not enough informations to use it to do my tribute (but maybe it is enough, i don't know, i only kown what i must play when i see the sheet, as i can't listen to music anymore), and last but not last, - missing the immolation scene with Vader at the end of ROTJ. - someone already did the transcription for me of approach the deathstar. my second tribute to han/luke/leia is blocked as well. i have the handwritten sketch for han & the princess, i have princess leia's theme, i have luke & leia, but i'm missing brother and sister, last tune i need to do the arrangement. if in this list, you would accept to do one of them that would be amazing. i'm dying each day to not being able because of my hearing issue to do the transcriptions myself so i search people who would accept to do them but it's not easy. two nice guys accepted to do approach the star and the death of yoda, but difficult to find any other guys who accept to do this... voila . hi ! very happy to see you !! well, me i released a new piano tribute, on hook : [media=] i did one on E.T too, still working on the video editing. ... anyway, i have a request as you ask ( ), i want to do a piano tribute to darth vader / the emperor and an another one to leia/luke/han, but i'm missing lead sheets. for it so i can do my arrangement (a lead sheet where i will improvise on it the whole tune). - someone already did the transcription for me of approach the deathstar. my second tribute to han/luke/leia is blocked as well. i have the handwritten sketch for han & the princess, i have princess leia's theme, i have luke & leia, but i'm missing brother and sister, last tune i need to do the arrangement. if in this list, you would accept to do one of them that would be amazing. i'm dying each day to not being able because of my hearing issue to do the transcriptions myself so i search people who would accept to do them but it's not easy. two nice guys accepted to do approach the star and the death of yoda, but difficult to find any other guys who accept to do this... voila . That's awesome! I can tell you a sheet for "The Death of the Emperor" sheet exists already in a collection called "John Williams Anthology," published by Warner Bros. I will have "The Death of Vader" ready to go once I finally finish the "Battle of Endor" sheet, which has been taking me months to work on because of business, so that won't be done for a long while. I can definitely write up "The Immolation Scene" from ROTJ for you in the next few weeks! The Scherzo already exists in the "John Williams Greatest Hits: 1969-1999" piano book, but I'd be willing to write up "Belly of the Steel Beast" if I have time. No promises, but I'll see what I can do! And so am I!! I listened to the previews last night and it got me super-thrilled to hear the rest of the soundtrack! So I was able to quickly put together the theme last night!
  8. Hey everyone!! So truth be told, this is the first time in two months I've gotten on the forum... I'm sorry; I've been incredibly busy with life at the moment. And I have so many things I'm planning for the future at the same time. So unfortunately, I haven't gotten much done in the way of transcriptions. All of these ideas I've shared of wanting to do, I'm not able to do them. So I'm starting from scratch, basically. No, I won't be getting rid of the sheets or forum, but I'm going to start over with ideas. I'll take requests for anything John Williams-related that hasn't been released as of yet, but do know that I might not have it up as soon as I normally share things. I will say this idea that I will be doing for sure: As soon as the Lincoln soundtrack comes out, plan on seeing a sheet of the piano solo for "With Malice Towards None" as late as a week after. Other than that, how is everyone??
  9. What would you think if at John Williams' next concert in December, he did a performace of Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait with Daniel Day-Lewis as narrator??
  10. Honestly, I'm not sure about this one. Williams' score is promising, and the movie looks pretty good - I especially thought Daniel Day-Lewis was striking - but I think I'm just going to wait until November and see the movie before I say anything else about it.
  11. Hey everyone! I just wanted to let all of you know that things are going back in swing for my life, so I'll be pretty busy for some time. My intent for the next few months, however, is to prepare a book of sheet music that I've personally made. Not an "official" release, per se, but a modest collection of sheet music I'll be making over the next few months. I'm going to be taking a break from making any John Williams piano sheet music because of this, instead focusing on bringing to paper another album I discovered. Henry Jackman's score for "Winnie the Pooh" - which he did about a year ago - was one I first listened to recently and have admired for some time, so my goal is to make a piano book of the entire album - songs and all. I made one sheet already as a kind of preview, which you can take a look at here, of the last track on "Winnie the Pooh." I'll also be making the sheets in order as they appear in the film itself - a cue list in context, which I'd be happy to put up if there are any requests for it. Happy Labor Day, everyone, and thank you for all of the support! I hope that once I've completed this new project that you can enjoy it as much as I will into creating it!
  12. I'm not sure exactly how the sharing sheet community thing would work; as long as something bad doesn't happen forcing me to take down these sheets, I guess? Or as long as I get credit for making the sheets? Otherwise, I think that's okay, then. Okay! I meant to start another forum to try and be a bit more organized, but that does make sense! That sheet does actually exist, believe it or not! The "John Williams: Greatest Hits 1969-1999" album has an officially released piano book to accompany the CD, with the Rosewood piece included. You can buy it here! No problem at all! Did you like the James Horner one too??
  13. The new forum has been created!! Go here to check it out! Some of the sheets have been updated and tweaked for an easier playing experience, while others I've made in the past that I haven't shared as of yet are finally here!! I hope you enjoy, and thank you so much everyone!
  14. Hello everyone! This is a forum I've dedicated to piano transcriptions I've created myself which were either unreleased at the time, or unreleased as of now. There are some exceptions that I've made, but hopefully the sheets are a little more complete than to what was previously released. This is as of now a product of the six or so months I have spent in creating this (and playing them!), so I hope you will have the same enjoyment as I did Here is everything I've written for your pleasure: WAR HORSE (includes Dartmoor, 1912, Seeding, and Horse vs. Car, The Reunion, Remembering Emilie, and Finale, and The Homecoming [NOTE: I made this about two months before the official news of a published piano book for War Horse was to be released. Take your pick, but I enjoy both!]) THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN (includes Sir Francis and the Unicorn, Snowy's Theme, and The Adventure Continues) NIXON (includes The Turbulent Years, Growing up in Whittier, Making a Comeback, The Miami Convention: 1968, The Meeting with Mao, and The Farewell Scene) SINGLE SHEETS (includes The Carriage Ride to Thornfield from "Jane Eyre," The Early Days; Massapequa from "Born on the Fourth of July," Arlington from "JFK," End Credits from "Presumed Innocent," and Gillian's Power from "The Fury") THE STAR WARS BATTLES (includes The Battle of Yavin and The Battle of Hoth) GROUPED SHEETS (includes: Angela's Prayer and Lord, Why Do You Want the Wee Children? from "Angela's Ashes"; and Theme from Jurassic Park, Welcome to Jurassic Park, and End Credits from "Jurassic Park" [Again, these were already released, but the versions here are a little bit different as well as a little more complete]) MISCELLANEOUS (includes The Family Farm from "The Patriot" by John Williams and I Can't See You Anymore from "The Amazing Spider-Man" by James Horner) THE TREE OF LIFE (includes River from "The Tree of Life" by Alexandre Desplat [for Two Pianos; you and a friend can play together!] [The complete score for this can be found here]) Again, I hope you enjoy!!
  15. That's exactly what I'm going to do! And for Hal Leonard, I've thought about it too but because of the frustrations involved like he said: unfortunatly he can't. a good friend of mine tried to have the authorisation to sell an arrangement of john williams, and it's refused because 1) williams gave all the right to publish his music to hal leonard publishing. 2) hal leonard publishing only allow sheets done by his internal workers. that's mean that if you're not someone who work as an arranger for hal leonard, you're not allowed to publish anything on john williams music, because they don't sell any licence to do it. this is a very very big frustration for my friend, myself and certainly a lot of other people too, as this "copyright" f*** issue forbidd anybody to publish anything commercially based on williams music. I've thought against it for now. But who knows?? But yeah, the new forum will be up soon!
  16. Hello again, everyone! I've taken a look at all the posts since my departure, and the recordings are fantastic! The enthusiasm is amazing! I wanted to let you all know a few things. First, I will be re-posting all of the sheets I've done to another forum within the next few days. I'd like to continue this forum onward to the new one I'll be creating soon in order to remove some of the clutter here. I'll be sharing the link to the new forum with everyone once it's ready! Second, I will also be sharing some new sheets on the new forum. These are ones I actually made a little while back, with the exception of two that I've had very little time in the last few weeks to put together. All are finished, though, and I hope you enjoy once the new forum is up. Some of the new sheets have actually been done and published before, but I made a version which is more complete and a little bit tweaked to what I've heard from actual recordings. You'll see what I mean once I share them. Thank you again for everything, guys! And you'll see all of this soon!
  17. Wow, that's great! I'm not sure what you mean, though; do you mean like my actual name? Because if you relook at the sheets again, I do say that I transcribed a sheet and added a copyright to it with my user name. It is on there! As for the lead sheets, I only have a few things to ask; can you credit me, or at least that the transcription came from me? And then can you share what you've done when it's ready? I'd love to see what you've done! Everyone else, I have good and bad news. Bad news first is that I've got to stop working on The Battle of Endor for now. The other two battles exhausted me, it's not coming out the way I like it, and I've had to put my focus on a lot of other things in my life at the moment. It's going to be like that for a while, but I promise you I haven't given up on it completely. Good news, though, is that I actually have a lot of other sheets I've done in the past that I'll be sharing periodically for the next month or so. When I have a better amount of time, a lot more focus, and more energy, then I'll return to it. It may not be for a short time, or a while longer than that, but for now I have to rest. However, I can try putting together an Indiana Jones sheet or two? To make it up to you guys? I'm really sorry about this. But I also want to say thank you for all your positive feedback and kind words and so on; it's been wonderful, and writing all of this has been a thrill! I will definitely not be stopping the music either!
  18. Dude... You're awesome. I just watched all of them. You just got yourself a new subscriber! Everyone else: Burnout is crazy right now; I've done very little for Endor right now, and all of my summer work is hitting me right now. I'll keep you posted where I'm at every day with it. As for Indiana Jones afterwards... Sure! I was actually thinking about doing that anyway; nice to see all the enthusiasm
  19. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of this, but Schindler's List was already released on Blu-Ray as part of Universal's 100th Anniversary. I saw a few copies of it at Best Buy yesterday.
  20. It's the least I can do; thank you for your kind words! Hoth took me about a week and a half to do, tbut that's because of the holidays and my time and business and whatnot. Glad you enjoy them, though! Thanks; glad you enjoy it! I have one way of providing an audio playback, but it never records musical techniques like crescendos, decrescendos, tempo slow-downs and speed-ups, or other things of that nature. I have an audio editing software that I might be able to work with, so I'll test it on one of my sheets and release it with the next batch; see what you think of it! I'll be starting The Battle of Endor on Monday, along with perhaps a couple other sheets - which brings me to a question I have for everyone. Does anyone know if there will be a piano book of The Amazing Spider-Man in the near future?? I'm itching to write some sheets for it, since the piano solos by James Horner are fantastic, and I want to perhaps broaden my horizon a little bit. Let me know what you guys think when you get the chance! I'll keep in touch!
  21. This is going to sound really weird, I think, but it takes the cake for my feelings. I don't mind sharing it either, to tell you the truth. I did two things regarding John Williams-related memoribilia for my crush in high school (we never did get together, unfortunately; it's a long story): -I played the End Credits from Born on the Fourth of July, from memory and which I personally dedicated to my crush, on piano for our high school band's talent show at camp. They absolutely adored it. Although it was probably and personally the scariest thing I think I ever did back then, it turned out to be the best night of my life regardless of circumstances. -On Valentine's Day this year, I gave them a CD of John Williams themes I personally mixed together to describe how I felt about them and our friendship as a whole. So there you go, I suppose.
  22. xD I got a little burnout from this intense writing the last few weeks; I'm going to start up again by this Friday.
  23. Hey guys; here's the revised and complete version/ THE BATTLE OF HOTH from The Empire Strikes Back: http://www.sendspace.com/file/bd3xoe You can disregard the previous sheet now. Enjoy!!
  24. Hello, everyone! I was going to wait until tomorrow to upload these, but I thought to myself yesterday that since Born on the Fourth of July is finally on Blu-Ray, then why not to celebrate?? So, here are the new sheets! Hope you enjoy playing them as much as I have in creating them (NOTE: I'm sad to say this, but the first one is unfortunately a rough draft. I don't have time to edit it at the moment, but I will be revising it and sharing it in the future.) "The Battle of Hoth" from The Empire Strikes Back, "The Early Days: Massapequa" from Born on the Fourth of July, and "Lord, Why Do You Want the Wee Children?" from Angela's Ashes: http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/Flh5%2BACQkax9%2FWVze6igF0wXFMfEish2 By the way, I will also be reuploading everything I have done so far in a more organized fashion sometime in the near future; probably around the next time I upload more sheets. Have a great Fourth of July!! Hi! I typed in the whole orchestra score for that piece ("1m1 - Tinker-Tin") into Sibelius 6 but didn't get around to making a transcription yet.... If you want, I could upload my sibelius file though. In fact I typed in quite a few orchestral cues already, but never got around to making the piano transcriptions... It's my pleasure! And thank you for suggesting that minor edit; that actually did improve the page a lot! Thanks for your kind words; it's a lot of fun, and I'm glad I'm able to do this for everyone! I'd love to see your Tintin file!
