Wow, a lot can change in three years. Well that ain't gonna happen. Lol. I now own an iPad and a Macbook Pro and am thinking about getting an iPhone. I still don't have a cloud storage service for my music though.

It's a pity that The Film-Flan Man will now likely never be released on CD with decent cover art. -

Since Ben Burtt was involved in the new sound mixes, I suppose the music levels have been lowered and the sound FX are way higher?

Who all performed on the Return of the Jedi source music?
1977 replied to Manakin Skywalker's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
I think the story goes that Lucasfilm loaned the master tape with that cue to CBS for use in one their documentaries (not sure if it was "Classic Creatures" or "From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga") and they misplaced the tape. -
From my old Disney/Fox digital thread, some older digital releases that had CD releases on Intrada: Walt Disney Music: Hollywood Records: There are a few other titles that I haven't linked to including a few Horners. Not sure which studio these two came from... Handmade Music: Other likely candidates: Something Wicked This Way Comes Adventures in Babysitting Condorman One Little Indian The Rescuers Down Under The Black Cauldron (they may decide to release the last two under the Disney Legacy banner)

Hey Roger, any news on Volunteers? -
I like the idea of collecting all these prior (and current) Intrada CD releases that are now available digitally into one thread, but bear in mind that the Rambo Trilogy is courtesy of StudioCanal, Rocketeer and White Fang are Hollywood Records, BTTF Part II is Geffen, Cinderella Liberty is Capitol and How to Steal a Million is I believe on a boot label (TP4).

*Ahem* Don't hold your breath. It's a 3rd party title. It's available to purchase on iTunes in my country. -
When you listen to Temple of Doom, do you skip “Anything Goes” ?

One of the biggest missed opportunities in KotCS is that Spielberg didn't ask Williams to arrange a big orchestral bombast that segues tounge-in-cheek into the Elvis song playing on the radio. -
I wonder how long it will be before the iTunes store is no more.

What will be the first film score released in Dolby Atmos I wonder?

Yeah, I initially skipped this release because of the cardboard sleeves issue, but I've had to reconsider my position because of this forthcoming release: https://www.amazon.com/Film-Scores-Bernard-Herrmann-Box/dp/B09242ZMBT/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Bernard+herrmann&qid=1621203351&sr=8-3&pldnSite=1 Seems cardboard is here to stay, I might as well accept it. -
I need to check that mine are still okay. I haven't taken the physical discs out since I bought them circa early 2000's. It depends, if you're a completist they are nice to have, but I prefer standard jewel cases. This post reminds me that I still need to find the Drew Struzan SE poster art versions of ESB and ROJ.
