Forgive me if this is the wrong thread of the dozen available choices but I wanted to pop in and say that this is a fabulous sendoff for John's Star Wars - perhaps lacking a single moment of spectacular payoff, as is the film - but fabulous all the same. I have lately rediscovered Star Wars through my children, and I thank Mr. Williams for being the soul of this world since my own childhood.

This has probably been brought up somewhere in the flood of discussion but didn't Blume point out years ago that Rey's theme shares a little DNA with the Emperor's? He was on to something obviously - or is my memory way off?

I say again, impressive - getting an accurate transcription of the drums in one evening in particular. I believe there is a strong demand for these skills as demo requirements become more demanding and composer's schedules tighter. For those like me who have largely broken with thr technology it's invaluable that the next generation is so adept with this.

That's impressive - how long did it take you? I can think of a number of composers who would pay to have someone put a demo like this together for them including myself.
