So does R2 do anything in this piece of crap? He’s always been my favorite. I’ve read the leaks and 3PO has a bigger role, but it seems that yet again R2 is barely in it.

At this point I’d even wish for the 97 version, which I remember as having good color timing, and didn’t have MacKlunkey, Hayden, NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!, etc.

What if the unaltered OT is exclusive to this box set and we’re forced to pay for the garbage disney trilogy (and the prequels for that matter) just to get the OOT?

It sure sounds like a mess, it seems they’re trying to save face with the whole “we had an idea to where the story was going” and “it was always the plan to bring back Palpatine”, to the point where Kennedy has said that the problem with Trevorrow was that he wasn’t at the early planning of the trilogy. When in reality it looks like Rian Johnson hated the Force Awakens and its very OT status quo of an old evil master and an apprentice who is conflicted between the light and the dark, so he said f*ck it and killed Snoke. Now JJ is back and it looks like he hated The Last Jedi and suddenly with nothing in the previous two movies about it, Palpatine is back and he is a grandfather now. With no build up at all. The dead are talking says the opening crawl. Just awful.

I think what you’re meant to understand is that Williams normally doesn’t do double CDs and chooses what music he wants you to have.

Funny, I got an email from Amazon Mexico saying Luigi’s mansion was shipping on October 4th. Must be a mistake, I don’t think there’s ever been an early mexican release date for anything.

I don’t really like the cars, there doesn’t seem to be much you can do with the cars. Every level I’ve played with them feels like a “runner style” platformer, where you go really fast and can’t stop and you have to time jumps without really knowing what’s ahead. In general I haven’t really liked the 3D World style all that much and I’ve yet to make a level with that style.

It’s true and the reason behind it is supposedly so people can’t take someone else’s levels, make a minor change and post it as their own.

Well that’s just the thing, the Switch doesn’t have a stylus (and using the finger isn’t very precise), the one they made for this game is only available in Europe I think and the Wii U one doesn’t work with the Switch. I guess I could look for a stylus somewhere but considering I had to get the online already for this game I’m not sure how much more money I want to invest in Mario Maker 2.

Been playing Mario Maker 2 a lot (well as much as I can). There’s so many neat ideas on story mode. My favorite so far is an underground level that plays with the night theme so it reverses gravity.
I have to say I haven’t really liked the Mario 3D World style so far. I don’t know why but it seems off, and I pretty much suck at it even though in other styles I’m quite a decent player. I haven’t even tried it on the course maker.
Speaking of which I do miss the Wii U’s two screens, it takes a lot more time to make a level. Another thing is that it seems very hard to have your levels played, on the original I never had that issue, and most levels were played or even liked almost immediately, on MM2 no one has played my levels except one.
Anyway, also got Bloodstained but it’s almost unplayable right now.

I’ll listen as soon as the CD is available here, which will probably be late since that has been an issue with Disney’s Star Wars.
Don’t mind about spoilers since I don’t care about new Star Wars movies and won’t watch IX.

Though it seems it was only a digital release and there was some issue with that release and it was pulled (it does seem to be on Spotify). There’s a lot of repetition from the 25th and 30th CDs, but there’s some unique tracks on it, like a A Link to the Past medley. There’s more clapping and cheering than in the 30th, where it’s mostly only at the end of tracks, in this one there’s some clapping in the middle of the tracks.

Well the description mentions the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the tracklist (very BOTW heavy) does mention an Ocarina medley and Kan’ accordeon medley:

Really close, but I guess the prequels. Potter suffers a bit from the fact that COS is very similar to PS, although I do love the new material.

I think the only real possibility is if someone near to Williams (I don’t know how close Matessino is), convince him that Star Wars is his Magnum Opus and what he might be mostly remembered more and so it must be properly presented and preserved. If the initiative comes from Williams’ camp it might happen. I don’t see Disney doing it since there’s very little money to be made. And since it’s Disney we can rule out the labels that do these things partly as a labor of love.
