  1. The Fury The Fury The Fury The Fury The Fury The Fury. Justin
  2. If you are refering to Doctor Who then can't we count Star Trek too? That's been around for 40 years and a lot more regularly than Who. Justin
  3. That's very strange indeed. I have to agree. The opening shot (all 10? (going by memory here) minutes of it) is brilliant, and it has a few moments, but other than that... one of the least interesting De Palmas for me. As a De Palma film it really isn't much. I just kept getting caught up in the story. Not brilliant but kept me entertained. And the opening shot is only 4:50. Justin
  4. The Bonfire of The Vanities. It's strange how this seemingly uninteresting movie completly sucked me in. It flew by. An impressive opening shot from De Palma and refreshing change of pace to the rest of De Palma's filmography. Justin
  5. King Mark obviously has not heard Unbreakable. He maybe in the same league as Jerry Goldsmith but there is plenty of distance between them. Justin
  6. I dunno, he even can't successfully do sci-fi... Mission To Mars, anyone? Ironically, Mission To Mars is the only DePalma film I've ever seen in theaters and I didn't even know who DePalma was then. Justin - Who proabably should watch it again but doesn't have great memories of it.
  7. The film takes an important subject like The Revolutionary War and gives it the class of Stargate, ID4, and Godzilla. Justin -
  8. Reservoir Dogs. Ham spankin' brilliant! Justin
  9. Why is everyone jacking off to Tommorow Never Dies? It's fairly standard stuff. Justin

  11. So when is Yared going to get sued for Troy? Justin -
  12. I was just listening to Led Zeppelin I the other day. Great album. Stairway to Heaven, The Battle of Evermore, and When The Levee Breaks are all fantastic. Justin
  13. Nicholas Meyer had nothing to do with that film. Justin - Who actually really likes it for no particular reason. (Then again that's true when it comes to a lot of Star Trek.)
  14. Up until maybe a year ago I really only listened to 100% film music. I took pride in my dedication to it. However, over the past 10-12 months I've been listening to diffrent music more and more ranging from The Beatles, to my (rather surprising) passion for AC/DC. Infact, once my enthusiasm for Munich died down, I'd guess the majority of the music I've been listening to has not been film music. So far in my journey into other kinds of music (mainly old school rock) I've discovered at least a partial enjoyment for The Beatles, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Queen, Led Zepplin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Hendrix, Pink Floyd and many others. So, percentage wise, exactly how much film music are you listening to these days? Justin
  15. I doubt it was ever Doyle's intention to "follow Williams" anywhere. Justin - Who wonders if it was Doyle's idea to use Hedwig's Theme at all.
  16. I enjoy the Matrix Trilogy scores. Justin
  17. Schindler's List. A brilliant film which is always diffucult to watch. Schindler's character change is great to watch. The Merchant of Venice. (2005) Al Pacino is marvelous in the film. A great recreation of Shakespeare's work. Justin
  18. Master and Commander: The Far Side of The World. Justin
