I saw " E.T." and "The Dark Crystal" as a double feature at the drive ins. Nightmares soon followed (I was 3)

In honor of my 1,989th post, I will give my opinion on the year 1989. Not too keen on it to be honest. BotFoJ and TLC were both good scores but the weakness of Always (and Stanley & Iris if you count it) really bring the whole year down for me. Not too keen on 1990 either, which has one of my favorite JW scores (Home Alone) and some of my least favorite (Presumed Innocent, Stanley & Iris if you count it).

    "The Edge" - Jerry Goldsmith
Absolutely love this score. Its probably my favorite Goldsmith from the 90's.
"Return to Oz" - David Shire
Lovely score from a composer I'm not terribly familiar with.
    "Family Plot" - John Williams
Didn't love this score initially, but its grown on me over the past several months.

Hearing the complete score in chronological order gives me a greater appreciation for the music. It makes me wonder how much more I would like other scores if they were complete.
Its still hasn't become one of my absolute favorites, but I'm definately glad I have it.

Okay, so tickets go on sale this Sunday. Who all thinks they will go? I definitely am, just going to decide how much I want to pay for a seat with the options available when I choose. Anyone wanna try to sit with me or organize a meet up on a certain day? For me it doesn't matter which day I go, so let me know now! That is, if you think I am cool enough.

    Hey everyone,
Brand new to the site...but I can tell already I'm going to love it. I'm a huge JW fan (obviously), and I have a couple questions.
-What's the deal with "The Sugarland Express" soundtrack?? Is it available ANYWHERE?
-What's the best way of getting a hold of some of his harder to find albums (Dracula, The Reivers etc.) I've gone to places like Amazon.com and they're quite pricy. Any suggestions??
I could probably dig deeper on the forums to find the answers...but I just wanted to do my first post.
Here's a top 10 just to give you an idea of my taste:
    1. The Empire Strikes Back
    2. A.I.
    3. Hook
    4. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
    5. Superman
    6. Raiders of the Lost Ark
    7. The Witches of Eastwick
    8. Heartbeeps
    9. A New Hope
    10. Earthquake
This list could change tomorrow...but currently these are my favorites.
