That's awesome! This OST is going to be one for the ages!

I've been listening to the Legacy of Hogwarts albums as well, the OST and the study themes. It's all very nice. I was a little surprised to hear how much the soundtrack is based in JW's musical language, very similar textures and playfulness. I guess it makes sense. JW defined the HP sound before later composers went away from it. A lot of the music is more background, atmospheric stuff with meandering melodies, but that's probably due to videogames needed that kind of background music. Really nice stuff all around.

Yes, it could be a JW recording with trailer house augmentation. But not pure JW like the TFA teaser music.

Music still has epic drums though. Definitely not JW.

ROTJ is a very good score and a very appropriate score for the movie. The action music is brighter and more fun because that is the tone of the film.

Wow, yes! I've always enjoyed that little melody but I never considered it's thematic association.

Listening to The Fabelmans theme for the first time I thought: this is perfectly pleasant piano music with a touch of Randy Newman and Americana. Listening to it now, and the theme could bring me to tears not because it is so sad but because it is so earnest and beautiful. I could almost say it is immaculate.

I literally didn't realize it until the last few posts in this thread.

The score is just so rich and dense with incredible themes and a much larger palette than ANH.

I'd love to be wrong, film directors often have little to no involvement with trailers and even less with the music selection. I especially doubt that a Twitter exchange would impact how the film is marketed.

This newest video really shows the delicate nature of the theme. It brings out all the golden-age goodness.

I love how JW accidentally wrote the Game of Thrones theme in the finale of AOTC.

Must be for that new ending JW mentioned.

Miller's Crossing is a beautiful and dark score.

When will we get a release of this? I absolutely loved the Prayer for Peace cello and classical guitar duet from the new JW YoYo Ma album. A beautiful, intimate arrangement.

We need that one poster, Mathis(?), to weigh in on this theory.
