  1. I'm looking for a legal, published piano reduction of the love theme from "The Terminal" for sale,as I'd like to learn it without laboriously transcribing it.It's a little tricky, and my down time for transcribing is limited ....If I can find it,i can analyze the scoring myself,I think.... There's a recording of the principal version on a CD entitled "Jazz Autographs" I have not seen the movie yet,so I don't know how often the piece is interpolated into the entire Film Score..I have not seen it in any published John Williams folio, and I was at Namm last week.. A beautiful, pastoral piece of music...
  2. I've recently heard a lovely piece from " The Terminal" that a fellow musician sent to me... I guess it's the romance theme between the two main characters,as I have not seen the movie.I realize that its in a collection of recordings called "Jazz Autographs" As a Jazz musician,I realize that it's obviously a through composed piece,(primarily a duet between Piano and Double Bass....It's beautiful, with a Pastoral feeling, somewhat reminiscent of Keith Jarrett, in it's evocation of 'Americana" (yes,I've been the You Tube interview) It's masterfully orchestrated, with beautiful development and modulations....I would of course like to learn it,without having to laboriously transcribe it.....Does anyone know if it is available in any authorized folio for sale as a piano reduction? That would be a good place to start...I can then analyze the themes, modulations, and study the orchestration.......
