  1. Hans Zimmer for example uses the D Minor key in a lot of his scores. I happen to find Randy Newman uses G Major as his go to key. John Williams uses every major and minor key because he’s underrated. Any other composers that have a favorite key signature? Note: Randy Newman is one of my favorite movie composers next to John Williams because of his trademark uses of Mickey-mousing to the film’s actions, using various time signatures, and using triple tuplets.
  2. First... The motifs you hear in the movie are fragments of Kristy and Bobby's songs, Elsa's Theme, Anna's (Pursuit) Theme, Hans' Theme, Anna and Elsa's Sister Theme, Kristoff's Theme, The Trolls Theme, Marshmallow's Theme, Kristoff and Anna's Theme (not sure), and a there's a theme associated with a sense of urgent heard in the cues "Return to Arendelle", "Elsa Charged with Treason" and "Anna and Olaf", I'll just call it the urgent theme.
  3. REPOSTING because of typo on title. Songs: Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, Score: Christophe Beck. This Disney animated film surprisingly has a musical score (not just the songs) worth analyzing cue by cue. In addition, there are a series of leitmotifs Christophe Beck incorporated into the score in order to being “a cohesive musical journey from beginning to end”. 1m1a Opening (Vuelie)1m1b Frozen Heart (Song)1m1c Frozen Heart Outro1m2 Elsa's Powers1m3 The Trülls1m4 Wanna Build A Snowman (Song)1m5 Three Years Later1m6 For The First Time In Forever (Song) 2m7 Meet Hans2m8 Coronation Choir2m9 Queen Of Arendelle2m10 Party Source #12m11 Fanfare2m12 Party Source #22m13 Party Source #32m14 It Just Can't2m15 Anna Dances With Hans2m16 Love Is An Open Door (Song)2m18 Party Source #42m20 Elsa Flees2m21 Anna Pursues2m22 Let It Go (Song)2m23 Anna Travels 3m24 Oaken's Sauna3m25 Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People (Song)3m26 We Leave Now3m28 Wolves3m29 This Way To The North Mountain3m31 Meet Olaf3m32 In Summer (Song)3m33 Arendelle Is Frozen3m34 Hans Needs Volunteers3m35 Climbing The Mountain3m36 Elsa's Palace3m37 Sister Talk3m38 For The First Time In Forever (Reprise)3m39 Marshmallow Rises 4m40 Marshmallow Chase4m41 Don't Come Back4m42 Anna's Hair4m44 Meet the Experts4m45 Kristoff's Home 4m46 Fixer Upper (Song)4m47 Ice In Anna's Heart4m48 Hans Captures Elsa4m49 Elsa Imprisoned4m50 Return To Arendelle4m52 Hans' Plan4m53 Elsa Charged With Treason 5m55 Anna and Olaf5m56 Snowstorm5m57 Anna Saves Elsa5m58 The Great Thaw5m59 Happily Ever After5m60 Ending You will be seeing a full analysis with time stamps from the movie indicating which music cue plays. 4. On 4m48, it was a typo. It meant to be say "Hans Captures Elsa". I fixed. It was the working title for the track "Summit Siege" on the album.
