  1. I took the screenshot on 4/9 and forgot about it. That’s the only reason I haven’t pulled the trigger on those two yet. Only reason I am close to considering grabbing them is due to the expanded New Hope and Empire being available on vinyl only outside the U.S., I just don’t want to miss out. But based on the project manager, I am inclined to wait. I had just purchased the expanded Raiders 2-LP from Concord at a fair price recently too lol
  2. I definitely don’t disagree with that. I mentioned that the writers are to blame. I was just defending Ford’s acting. He nailed what the writers came up with…it’s just not what it should have been. Weak writing, AMAZING acting. If anything KOTCS hits those “Maverick” vibes. You know what that means? Top Gun 3 is going to open with a drunk, depressed Maverick because Rooster was shot down and KIA over enemy lines. Rooster’s son will have to save Maverick from giving up on life….are you reading this Hollywood?!! You’re welcome for this completely original sequel idea!!!!
  3. To be fair, how else is Harrison Ford supposed to portray a man who has lost his only son and his marriage is recently ended? He becomes reliant on alcohol to help cope with these losses and probably sees himself a failure and is bitter as a result. I’d say Harrison Ford NAILED it with his performance with what the character was going through. Whether it felt like Indy or not Harrison acted his ass off playing a broken man which Indy most certainly was. Not the Indy we knew, for sure, but a very realistic portrayal of what ANY man would go through in that scenario. Disney has screwed our heroes over with Han, Luke, and Willow. Their changes make NO SENSE. At least Indy’s does. I was thinking he was Luke Skywalker all over again until the reveal of Mutt’s death. All of the sudden it all made sense. Still hate seeing him so broken but that’s the fault of the writers. Harrison WAS broken Indiana Jones and the performance was amazing.
  4. My favorite LLL Black Friday release still is the Lethal Weapon box set. That was a shocker for me.
  5. Any rumors about John Williams' The Patriot? That'd be a nice 2-CD set
  6. Wasn't Horner's "The Mask of Zorro" in consideration? I thought I may have read that here.
  7. I received a shipping notice today:
  8. Hold on to your hats, gentlemen! I received this today: I know it’s just the LP but there are FINALLY signs of life at the Emporium!
  9. The Dial of Destiny CD is back up for PREORDER on Disney! GO! GO! GO! https://www.disneymusicemporium.com/product/XVCD60/john-williams-indiana-jones-and-the-dial-of-destiny
  10. The score for Snake Eyes was absolutely beautiful
  11. Did you hear that Yoko Kanno is releasing an expanded soundtrack for the Netflix series sometime in the next few weeks? While the series was lacking, the music was awesome.
  12. JNH's Major League, Ira Newborn's My Blue Heaven, or Kamen's Frequency for me! I have isolated score copies for the latter two, but I would love it if they ever did official releases.
  13. Mark Isham's Timecop. That would be nice since the first release in 1994 was 28 minutes.
  14. "In Liberty's Shadow" is everything I could have wanted and more with that opening. What an ending too! 32 years waiting!
  15. “Seems Like Old Times”...”Heart & Souls”. Grodin was a fantastic performer.
  16. I’d welcome an expanded edition of 1998’s “Mask of Zorro”.
  17. I found this cover at another site and the dimensions were smaller than I would have preferred. Is it possible to recreate this cover with a higher-res image?
  18. Hopefully we get a release sometime in 2019. It’d be something to look forward to since there will be no new series this year. I’m thinking it will be a 3 disc set this time. 1 for Doctor Mysterio and the other 2 discs for series 10 that will also include Twice Upon a Time. I don’t think there was a lot of new music for that episode to justify a 4th disc. Maybe 6 new tracks? Or maybe it will be a 4 disc set. It might contain previously unreleased tracks from the last 9 series. Muahhahaa.... if only...
  19. Wow, Valerian sounded great! I liked hearing the "Medusa" cue around the 12:40 mark and then the space battle around 14:00. What a great score Valerian is. I'm surprised it's not talked about more. Chewy, I seem to remember you putting together a "complete version" of the score last year. How much of the score is unreleased do you think?
  20. What stinks about series 11 is seeing the wasted potential. There is so much to work with that could make a great show but the writing here has TRULY let Jodie and crew down. It really is a shame. Demons of Punjabi, Kerblam, and It Takes You Away are the only good episodes that I've seen. The Woman Who Fell To Earth was actually a decent introduction...just drug a bit. Jodie not having the screen time to further develop her Doctor is hurting her. She keeps getting lost between the companions and the people they are trying to save. She was probably at her most "Doctory" in "It Takes You Away". Hopefully the finale and New Years special rectifies this but I think it's a crime that Thirteen wasn't focused on even just a bit more. That would have gone such a long way. Then it's going to be almost year before we see series 12. I can't see anyone being excited enough to get the hype going for it then. I fear it's going to become, "Doctor Who Cares" and that is a damned shame. In the words of Ten, "THEY COULD DO SO MUCH MORE!"
