The below clip is from the film 18 Again! (1988). https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094593/ Around 45 seconds, the music looks very familiar. Is the music taken from the film Superman (1978) composed by John Williams or taken from some other film? Thanks. https://vimeo.com/331066876

I didn't watch the entire film, but I just listened to the song "Shallow" from A Star Is Born. Beautiful song. No wonder it won the Oscar. Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, Andrew Wyatt - all won the Oscar but not Bradley Cooper. So the award goes only to the song writers/song composers and not for the performers? Also, who composed music for this film? In IMDB, normally they will be credited under 'Music by' category and I don't see that category for this film. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1517451/fullcredits?ref_=ttawd_ql_dt_1 Does that mean several contributed to the score (or) music taken from many sources?

What Is The Last Film You Watched? (Newer Films)

A Simple Favor (6/10) For the most part, it's solid. A very good example for: 1) How the ending can ruin a film 2) What happens if style took over content -

Ok, let me try this copy/paste. One of my favorite shot from Days of Heaven (1980). BTW, the whole film is beautifully photographed. -

No, I don't have the entire film. I checked the IMDB credits but not that much info. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105706/soundtrack?ref_=ttfc_ql_trv_7

Hello All: I am a first year film student and new to the forum. I just watched Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. Did John Williams used the same theme music on other Star War films or did he varied the theme music? Thanks.
