  1. The Cleveland Orchestra will be doing this next summer at Blossom Music Center on June 29th and 30th. https://www.clevelandorchestra.com/attend/concerts-and-events/2425/blossom/raiders-of-the-lost-ark/
  2. November 13th, 2022 at 3:00 PM John Williams Conducts the Cleveland Orchestra This is a rescheduling of a concert from April 2020. There's no webpage for it yet, but I just got an email allowing me to grab the same tickets I had for the April 2020 concert.
  3. It's not going to be shown during that stream. I think the performances were only for the people in the room. I don't expect them to ever be put up in full by Lucasfilm.
  4. The lightspeed skipping scene being left out of the edit at some point might be corroborated by the leaks. The very first comprehensive leak of the storyline for the film did not include the lightspeed skipping scene. Here's how it introduces Finn and Poe: This was August 30th, 2019. By the time that same leaker posted an updated summary on September 17th, the asteroid base/lightspeed skipping scene was included. Also possibly of note, there was no footage of the sequence released until the final trailer in October. Neither the teaser from April nor the D23 "special look" from late August included anything from it.
  5. A leak from October 2019 did have the movie opening on Exegol. I wouldn't be surprised if that lasted at least until the November cut.
  6. 6M57 6M57R Rey’s Rope Climb The leaked shooting schedule mentions a scene from about this part of the movie that's never seen the light of day. It says "Rey uses her fight skills to take out a Stormtrooper, get his gun." I wonder if this is from that. 7M67R It Is You This moment is still in the movie, but this line was removed. In the script, when Rey Force-grabs the lightsaber at the end, Kylo says "it is you." This was cut from the movie, but is still in the novelization. To add on to this list: 1M6 1M6 Alt Seeing A Mother and Getting Rations Is something similar. Originally, when Rey was cleaning her salvage, she looked up and saw a mother and son board a starship that then flew away. This was changed in the final film to Rey looking at the old woman and the ship flying away was reused as the end of the Force vision she has when touching the lightsaber. 2M18B Who's Luke Skywalker Same as above, the moment is still in the film, but was changed from how it was originally filmed. Originally, when Rey and Finn first meet, Rey didn't know who Luke Skywalker was. 4M36R I Ran Into You Might be from the deleted scene of Unkar Plutt at Maz's castle. 5M43A (Fix) Maz's Treasure Chest Might be from the deleted scene where Maz was going to use the force to collapse a tunnel on some stormtroopers. Its position is from after Rey finds the lightsaber, has the vision, and runs away so I don't think it's directly referring to the chest holding the lightsaber. Although that whole sequence went through a bunch of permutations in editing so who knows.
  7. Disney uploaded a video of the Rise of the Resistance ride at Galaxy's Edge and used some of the symphonic suite to score it. The very beginning is new to me, but it might have been used elsewhere before.
  8. Forgive me if this is old, or incorrect, but I noticed that the first time you start one of the Blu-ray discs of the film (either the movie or special features discs), there's a little more to the beginning of the menu music. I don't know if it's more of the 1m20 Rey Training cue or an intro that's been tacked on to it, but I figured I'd mention it. I popped the special features disc into my computer and ripped the track so you can hear what I'm talking about. Special_Features_Blu-ray_first_boot_menu.flac
  9. It's been officially canceled, though the orchestra is urging people to hold on to their tickets as they're trying to reschedule.
  10. I managed to rectify my mistake when I missed him here a couple years ago. I snagged tickets this time.
  11. His official site (or what I'm assuming is his official site) says he worked on the teaser.
  12. There will be a presentation at Disney's D23 convention about the music and sounds of Galaxy's Edge. Friday August 23rd from 12:30 to 1:30 PST. D23 presentations have not been livestreamed in the past and I don't think that's going to change this year.
  13. I believe that's referring to the original opening of the movie from the shooting script. In it, after the opening scroll, the camera would pan down to reveal the severed hand of Luke Skywalker, still clutching his lightsaber, as it floated through space miles above a planet. Here's Mark Hamill's description of it:
  14. I apologize if this has already been mentioned, but the Cleveland Orchestra will be doing Empire Strikes Back on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Labor Day weekend at Blossom, the outdoor venue. They did A New Hope there last year and it was wonderful.
