  1. haha nice. The theme of "When Johnny comes marching home" sticked in my head. I also asked by dad if the music of this movie is available somehow. He replied he don't think so. He was really surprised when we were in a record store and I ran towards my dad with the OST in my hands.
  2. Same here. Loved it in the movie too - somehow it prepares the whole subway mayhem which is about to come after it. This score has a special place in my heart. It was the first action movie which I need to go with my parents to the cinema to watch. And with this score my love to film scores started. All these years I listened to the OST. When La La Land Records announced the expanded score back then it was like a dream come true. With the complete cue list now showing the flame newly rekindled again with hope for a more "expanded" set. I really hope for it.
  3. I ordered but didn‘t receive it yet. What I can remember from the old promo is: it‘s some classic Beltrami horror music.
  4. DKC:TF is an absolutely amazing Jump‘n‘Run game. Love it!
  5. oh yeah. I really hoped for a new endless "Barry"-era. He really did such a good job on composing and feeling the Bond-sound.
  6. Well, I had no time to comment to this release since I received it. I listen to the set regurarly. The "Surrender (alternate)" track is amazing - I love the quiet intro to the song. Also the track "White Knight" is still amazing after all these years. The final tracks "Ha Long Bay", "Boarding The Stealth", "Grenade", "A Tricky Spot For 007", "Stealth Shoot Out", "Carver Gets It", "All In A Day's Work" are amazingly wall to wall scoring with big and entertainy orchestra music..... if I'd continue writing about this score the word "amazing" would appear several more times. I love the classic David Arnold/Nicholas Todd sound.
  7. same here... besides of ID4 Tomorrow Never Dies is my favorite score by David Arnold. Loved it!!!!! Can't wait till the delivery arrives in Switzerland
  8. new hope for a Silksong release date
  9. here you go https://chrono-score.blogspot.com/search/label/Scream Saga
  10. really fast yes - already received it at home today in Switzerland
  11. @chrissiddallThank you so much for this playlist - a question concerning the "Def-Con 3" cue: it doesn't sound like it's recorded by a real orchestra except for ending. Do you have any further information concerning this?
  12. sorry for misleading ^^ didn't know how to call it - but it's still great
  13. this is my first sheet music book I've ordered and I have to thank you @chrissiddallalso on this board. I spent most of my free time on the weekend to listen and edit the music. It's really amazing! Thank you! also thank you to @Jayfor his music sheet which helped me alot!!!! p.s. ....oh this sledge hammer xD
  14. I was 9 but already loved the music. Yeah - I still hope that some speciality label is preparing a bigger release of this. Hope is never lost
  15. I first thought that the music is tracked but there are some different parts in the last cue of the scene and also one cue is missing (throwing chairs-part)
  16. and I kinda like the suite Oscar is Quietly Surrounded - the addition of the organ omg I didn't expected that. the music from the finale and the court scenes were the only ones which I remembered. I just started to watch the movie again sadly the court scene music on the soundtrack is an alternate. But it's still great music. only if they find all the music. There's a YT video with Randy Edelman where he speaks about this release. And Sony only found this music. I think this why they only released this amount of the score.
  17. beside of "insanely non-chronological" I am sooooooo happy to finally have the possibilty to listen to this music. I'm happy with this release. I fully agree with Richard: those three tracks with the addition of He's Got Carpathian Eyes !!! just awesome childhood memories and thank you @Turbo for this fast analysis
  18. I can only agree with @StarkI absolutely adore Twister - still listen to this score regularly. "Mobil Home", "Cow" ... I better stop with favourite tracks. Because in the end I would list every track
  19. Oh yes - that cue would be awesome to have - but I'm really happy with this release - most of the highlights are included.
  20. thx for your list - first I felt like Headless comes shortly after Dangerous Variant in Ep 4 - but then I rewatched the beginning of Ep 5 again and saw this camera-drive toward the head on the ground and then I thought: ok ok ok - this track belongs really to Ep 5
  21. additional news from cede.ch: "For the first time ever - 32 years after the film's 1989 release - the Original Score to Ghostbusters II by Randy Edelman will be available across digital and physical formats from Sony Classical. The album includes original tracks as well as 3 newly re-recorded tracks and an additional track originally recorded for Ghostbusters II but not featured in the film."
