Close Encounters...Star Wars is the bees knees and started it all for me.

Jaws...extranemely reluctantly...but "When You Wish Upon A Star" is one of my favourite songs...and Star Wars is my favourite score.

Superman..."Leaving Home" & "The Flying Sequence" make me hesitate but I can't vote for the other 3 right now.

There's 26 violins, 16 violas, 10 cellos, 4 bass, 8 trombones, 2 bass trombones, 4 harps, 3 guitars and 3 percussionists. The sound depends on the track: from chamber-music-y to very symphonic. One very meaty track is "Hollywood and Vines". The cellos really kick arse. And of course the quieter stuff really compliments the action material: "Win One For The Reaper", "Life and Death". Two of my favourite tracks are from two of my favourite scenes in the series: "Locke'd Out Again" and "Parting Words" both starting quietly but build to emotional climaxes. "Getting Ethan" is a pulse-pounding action track. I had my doubts about this CD when it was announced first but I really love it.

LOST kicks ass.

Why do i like JW? Star Wars, ostinatos and counterpoint...the rest just flowed automatically.

I voted for The Great Escape but what about the Dambusters or The Green Berets?

Balls! I had the chance to save Raiders and what did I do? I only went and voted for it. Oh well, there's no shame in letting the ugly little spud win.

I never "got" E.T. Oh I get it...but with the scores left I just had to do eeny meeny miny mo and hope for the best. Though I am kinda hoping Raiders wins over all.

E.T. I can't stand uplifting music.
