  1. Haven't seen Clean And Sober but I do remember his role in Raising Arizona.
  2. Here's Emmet Walsh as Dustin Hoffman's parole officer in Straight Time (1978) from Ulu Grosbard. As some of you might remember, Ridley Scott actually wanted Dustin Hoffman to play Rick Deckard in Blade Runner and I think this scene with Emmet and Dustin might have something to do with that.
  3. Rest in peace, captain Bryant. I think he knew all along that the Deckard who was sitting in front of him was a replicant.
  4. No, Trevor Horn's Echoes: Ancient & Modern
  5. Pretty good, Thor. Very enjoyable. Love the recording as well.
  6. Those are reserved for romantic comedies. This is horror sci-fi!
  7. Listening to Echos right now. Every track (all covers, I think) is sung by different artist ... Meh ... It's not good. Sounds like background cover versions for restaurants or H&M.
  8. No, not familiar with any of this. Are we still talking about Trevor Horn? To be clear: The Age Of Plastic > Adventures In Modern Recording > Drama
  9. Yes, bare-chested and jeans. Anyway, who knew Trevor Horn has a new album?
  10. Will The Sun apologize if the new James Bond turns out to be Daniel Radcliffe?
  11. There's even a guy deflecting bullets with a light sword. This has to be the worst franchise ever.
  12. Agreed! I stopped watching after a couple of episodes.
  13. Listen again to the intro, especially to the harpsichord. It's vintage JW! Steve was a John Williams fan!! I know it!
  14. Steve Harley had two big hits in the '70s. This one (Sebastian) starts like a vintage JW score.
  15. Apparently he's already working on it. (and the apostle that goes by the name 'crocs' is probably already spreading the word)
  16. Last week I noticed for the first time that there is actually a person on the Obscured By Clouds cover. It's one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums. These days I prefer the period between Syd Barrett and their big operatic/grand style albums.
  17. People can't cope with the fact that Batman lost a fight. That's why the thumbs went down.
  18. Wasn't it just a TV movie of the week? I think the world (from the average Joe in Arkansas to the elite reviewer in New York) only started talking about Steven Spielberg after the record-breaking blockbuster that was Jaws. Now he was a superstar!
  19. I prefer TDKR over TDK because in TDKR I actually liked Batman. Didn't Spielberg become a superstar director with Jaws?
  20. It's very good but don't expect a 'man vs beast' movie.
