~Harry, who noticed there was no mention of Mr. Spielberg

And even worse, there was no mention of John Williams. :music:

Yeah, but I gotta give them credit for putting him on two of their networks, live. That was cool.

Because he had a frog in his throat and couldn't clear his throat on Live TV. I guess he managed to swallow it or something cause it went away. But he kept on apologizing for "this raspy voice..."

Dan - who found that embarassing

Harry, surely you are not dumb enough to believe that Spielberg will be directing it. It's Lucas' and Lucas' alone.

thanks for the article though. it is excellent.

Joe, who is watching one of the great Star Trek DS9's of all time. The one where the Klingons attack the station. NO space battle in Star Wars was ever this good.

Are you calling me dumb? That's not very nice.

Why are you so sure they're his alone? Why can't someone else help him along?

No Harry, I am not calling you dumb. I simple asked a pointed question.

Besides Spielberg has his own projects. He needs to make Ghost Soldiers or War of the Worlds while Lucas does Ep. III.

they can work together on Indy 4.

Spielberg can do as much as he wants. Look at 2001 and 2002, for example.

He's did Catch Me If You Can simply to battle against Miramax (again ) by releasing another Leo DiCaprio movie on Christmas Day.

Dan - who feels The Road To Perdition and Minority Report will be DreamWorks' two big shots at the Oscar this year.

The Road To Perdition (scored by Thomas Newman) stars Tom Hanks, Paul Newman, and Jude Law. It is directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty) with award-winning cinematographer Conrad Hall. It's about a Chicago hit-man (Hanks) and his quest for revenge on the streets of 1930s Chicago.

It's been delayed because of scoring, I heard. Plus, DreamWorks wanted to keep A Beautiful Mind and The Road To Perdition apart for Oscar consideration ---- very smart. It's going to help Hanks by having two films of his in the same year, DreamWorks by having 3 major films, Spielberg by having 2 films, Williams by having another 2 films, etc....it's good strategy against Miramax who is putting everything behind Scorcese's Irish gang epic, Gangs Of New York (scored by Elmer Bernstein)

Good night, Harry. I stop at my mark and allow you to continue, good friend.

Dan - who knows Harry will read this in the morning, so...

You don't want Spielberg to direct it? Didn't you see Ep2?

Right, Morn. Lucas needs help in the directing department. He can make awesome effects, but that doesn't help the actors involved. Mr. Spielberg can help, and I think he should. :(
