Morlock 11 Posted December 17, 2007 Share Posted December 17, 2007 No, no it does not. A lovely film, a feast for the eys, but IMO it is not one of the top films of the year. Incidentally, I just saw it again a few minutes ago one DVD (with a pitiful bonus section, I might add). Really charming. But visual splendor aside, IMO is does not stand with the best Pixar has had to offer. EDIT: It will almost certainly win. The only possible competition is Persopolis, which could get a lot of love because it was shut out of the foreign language race. But Ratatouille is just so uniformly liked, it seems unbeatable.
