Later, she'll impress him with how quickly she's caught on with the bow; he'll aim for a target and hit it just outside the bullseye, she'll hit the bulls eye, then hand him back the bow and say "only straight arrows make it into my quiver." Apparently Paramount doesn't have any faith in the movie so Alex Garland's Annihilation is getting an international Netflix release just 17 days after a theatrical release in the US, Canada and China. The movie is supposed to be too intellectual and too complicated. To be honest, based on the trailer, I thought it was an Alien or Predator kind of movie.
