That looks very, very funny. With this and BILL AND TED FACE THE MUSIC, I guess my Fall viewing is all set.

Oh, wait. There isn't a fucking cinema within 50 miles, and 4 fucking hours' travel time of my house.

I WANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!

Yea man I loved the first Kingsman, but the second was such a disappointment, and this just looks like Matthew Vaughn isn't a director to be excited about any more

Well, at least there's still Edgar Wright. Probably my favourite new gen director. Tim Miller shows promise too, even if I doubt he's going to be effective and powerful enough to make a difference with the Terminator franchise.

Re: Kevin Smith. Good director, terrific writer. Big fan of Clerks, but particularly its sequel. The new Jay movie looks terrible though.

Have you seen any of the other stuff he's put out since 2000?

Four hours?!? Ah, I forgot that sheep are your main mode of transport. :P

Not quite, but they are the main obstacle, on the roads!

I was asking Quint! To him:

To you: Even the Walrus movie and all that?

He's surprisingly prolific. Dogma by far is my favorite of his.

Clerks 2. Loved it.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Passable.

Red State. Underrated as fuck little grindhouse thriller. The one Kev Smith movie Joey should watch.

Hey @JoeinAR, we're about to watch IT chapter 1. This better live up to your hype, oh [questionable] horror master lord of JWFan!

An "upcoming" movie, to me.

Well its no Hereditary.

My upcoming movie is Crawl and will see it at 1025am.

First trailer was kind of cringey but this is more interesting.

I noticed that there's a similar parent/child theme like seen in Interstellar

Relatable and potentially satisfying for broad audiences but off-putting to Alexcremers because he doesn't identify with prominent parental themes in movies and is apathetic towards children in general.

Richter hasn't produced interesting music in some time, but he does know how to make a film work.

New trailer for this film is much more promising than the last Gravity-knock off impression.

To add more cringe into your day, look no further than...

Are they serious?  The kind of sustained insanity needed to make something like this is next level.

Plus, the music sounds so-so.

You guys check out the new trailer for the Top Gun sequel? Looks great!

Wow I hadn't seen that.  Looks better than it has any right to be!  Crazy that it hasn't gotten more attention here on the forum.

I never saw Top Gun as a kid, finally saw it sometime during college or maybe right after.  I didn't get the hype or why so many people talked about it all the time, I thought it was terrible.  Then, a year or two ago, I watched it again, because Marcy had never seen it.  At least this time it was in nice HD on our nice TV, and not VHS on a crummy college CRT.  Would that make the difference?  No, I still thought it was absolutely terrible.  I still don't really understand why its remained so popular; I guess it's a right place, right time kinda thing

I've never seen it, but I'd imagine it was popular because of the coolness factor and I'd guess no Hollywood film prior to that featured such realistic depictions of actors playing pilots flying state-of-the-art fighter jets.
