so they split BTTF4 when it fits in one cd?

You mean BTTF 3 right? :)

Yes it is silly and misleading. There was no reason to split that. Just like this guy here who split the complete score for Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer to two discs when it clearly fits onto one.

Just cause it says its a promo on that CD doesn't mean it is. It's a bootleg like any others. People fake artwork all the time

Since promos are given free, i suppose the reuse fees would not apply.

Sometimes, what we call promo is just a CDr made by a generous composer that wants his work listened. So the companies that control reuse fees are not aware of them (in time).

The fact that the eBay auction is from Hong Kong should have immediately sent up a red flag warning.

Again, if it's on eBay and it appears to good to be true then that should tell you all you need to know about it's authenticity.

I am from Hong Kong. The Auction was not.

Yet, no doubt that it was a boot.

Let's just say based on the experience of others I'd be wary of bidding on auctions from China for certain items.

There's no reason to ever pay money for illegal bootlegged material any more It's always easily found online
