Gruesome Son of a Bitch 6,488
It is indeed perfect hair, but Audrey, Norma and Shelly had even more impressive locks. I'll say this for Lynch. Nick1Ø66 4,689
Just finished Season 4 of Vikings. Pretty uneven season, though it redeemed itself a bit towards the end. The final two episodes had some of the best medieval battle scenes I've seen on TV....the guys at GOT should give whoever directed those episodes a call. It's VERY hard to direct battles like this in a way that it's easy for the viewer to follow the strategy of what's going on so that it makes sense. Very well done. Otherwise, I was seriously considering giving up on the show about mid point, but the end peaked my interest enough that I'll check out Season 5 whenever it comes around. Next up: The Last Kingdom, season 2.

I've softened up on the last season after a recent rewatch. Its not without merit, and it has its moments. But yes, the show works best when the whole ensemble is together. I'm glad we're getting a fifth season.

Hee, hee. TAOJJBTCRF was my favourite film of that year. If TWBB is revisionist, what about OKLAHOMA CRUDE, THE WILD BUNCH, ULZANA'S RAID, McKENNA'S GOLD, SHALAKO, HOMBRE, and BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID? There's a neat little revisionist western that you should see. It came out in 1976. I've heard it has a good score, by some newbie. The film is called THE MISSOURI BREAKS. Disco Stu 15,495
When caring for a newborn infant, I like to binge watch a TV show that doesn't require much thought but also doesn't insult your intelligence, so I've been watching Father Brown on Netflix lately. It was pretty much exactly what the doctor ordered for season 1, like a cup of hot chocolate or something. But I've found there to be such a steep drop off in quality in season 2 that I'm not sure I'm going to stick with it. 4 minutes ago, Brónach said: I don't remember if I mentioned here Over the Garden Wall or not.
