Since the chapter is almost closed on Goldsmith scores from the 90s (apart from the Varese titles), maybe the labels will transfer their attention to Horner scores from the 90s

It's actually very expensive to press another batch of CD sets.  Since they have't had any big releases the first half of the year besides Twister, they probably don't have the funds available to order more until some of their big titles they've sank money into finally come out and start selling

Wonder Woman and X Files were huge and outsold Twister thus far. Voyager is a close 3rd.

 

Braveheart will be back early august. It's not cheap to buy finished goods

One has never been released while the other has. Plus Wonder Woman has a huge fan base that goes far beyond the film score fan community. It's a beloved tv show with great music that many folks have fond memories of.

Restored and remastered from studio elements, this deluxe limited edition release features some of the finest television music ever recorded. Never-before-released, the exhilarating scores presented here propelled the adventures of Special Agent Jim West and Artemus Gordon week after week and were composed by such renowned musical legends as Richard Markowitz, Robert Drasnin, Dave Grusin, Richard Shores, Harry Geller, Walter Scharf, Jack Pleis, Fred Steiner, and Dimitri Tiomkin (who wrote an original, unused theme!).  Album producer Jon Burlingame takes you on a rip-roaring ride through this amazing compilation with his comprehensive liner notes – featured within a knockout 40-Page booklet.

This 4-CD set was produced for La-La Land Records by Jon Burlingame and mastered by Doug Schwartz from ½’’ and ¼’’ tape vault elements. Dave Grusin’s, Walter Scharf’s, and two of Richard Shores’ scores were restored from CBS stem elements by audio expert, Chris Malone. The pistol-packing art design is by Jim Titus. I got the old volume 1-3 releases for maybe $3 apiece at a used CD store, and I honestly am not sure if I got my money's worth of enjoyment out of them.

Things went very well for us this month with 5 great releases. Four of them are in stock and have shipped out. The 5th title, Transformers The Last Knight, arrives Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll get to packing them up straight away!

August 1 

We will not have any new titles ready, but we will have several titles go back on sale that have been out of stock (some for a few years), so it will be a good time to catch your breath or stock up on some old favorites you missed out on.

August 15 

This will be our ONLY release batch for the month (just like in July). Nothing will be coming out Aug 29. Two titles should be in stock and ready to ship around mid August, while the two other planned titles will most likely be in stock and ready to ship a week or so later. To save on time (and you folks overseas -- MONEY) we will start accepting orders on August 15 for the planned 4 titles and start shipping our orders as the cd's become available.

I'm hoping we will know what titles will be ready by the first week of August. When we know, we'll let you know.

Will September be back to normal? Who knows?! In the meantime, enjoy the great titles July brought you and look forward to the 2 or possibly 4 titles August has in store!

I'm still hoping for somebody to re-release JNH's Alive from 1993, I think it's a beautiful score which definitely deserves deluxe treatment.

Really? Is Pretty Woman that good? I don't have it, but LITW is my favourite JNH, and King Kong certainly makes my top 5, too. Also Treasure Planet.

Yea, there's some great action music in the complete score that isn't on the OST.  Hopefully they pick good samples to showcase it.

I didn't find much in the sessions that wasn't properly on the 66-minute album - deleted them, in fact. Now, if they next do 'Hidalgo', that's a mammoth score with loads of great music missing!
