Yes, 3000 copies and the first 100 will be signed by Mr. Conti if you order the CD from La-La Land.

Ollie 1,059
Well we can relax it was the Outer Limits. http://www.lalalandrecords.com/OuterLimits.htmlOh well kudos to LaLaLand for releasing it and getting the music out there.
fommes 153
Indeed, but to say that everybody should lay aside 30 dollars for this release was a bit, eh, optimistic?
Ollie 1,059
To me, yeah, although there are quite a few fans of the composer out there. I thought this might be something a little more special. But I'll never criticize the labels, unlike some, for their limited edition releases I have no interest in because someone else probably had their dreams come true. fommes 153
Me neither though. It gives hope for other TV series too. Actually, come to think of it, 60s TV series are doing well in CD releases lately, what with Network's complete releases and Lalalandrecords with Lost in Space and all. Ollie 1,059
Yeah, plus they do have Masters Of The Universe coming and finally it appears Akira Ifukube's Zatoichi score later this summer.

Ollie 1,059
LaLaLand to announce 2 disc Masters Of The Universe Today. Around 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Pacific Time. I think the first 100 or so will be autographed by Bill Conti. I think it will be limited to 3000 copies.

Ollie 1,059
If you like Conti and a big orchestral score with some temp track influences, then yes. It's been years since I've listened/watched the film so I can't be more specific but it's a heavily requested score. tjguitar 0
Anyone mind briefly filling me in on this score? Should one be excited? The main title is definitely inspired by superman (and HOLST), perhaps even a bit too close for some people. Its one of my favorite Conti scores. Incanus 5,714
Ordered (and hopefully with an autograph ) ! Some of the best Conti ever even with those obvious influences from different musical sources. A great fantasy/adventure score with flair.

Quintus 5,399
It's simple enough to me; any score album which features a track called Battle At The Gym, has to be worth the shipping costs alone.
GoldsmithFanatic2000+ 0
Ditto. I've been listening to the samples, they are great! The sound quality is far superior to the previous muddy sounding affair, and you get the complete score, plus the original album remastered to boot! This one is going to be getting played to death, oh yes. Incanus 5,714
I was fast enough to get an autographed copy! 8O And apparently Conti had signed more than 100 CDs (~ 150) although autographed copies ran out in first 10 minutes. And 20$ is very cheap for a 2 CD set.And the autograph is just a nice bonus for me. The music here is really what counts.
Maglorfin 196
Ordered! Too bad I missed the autographed copies, would've been a nice icing on cake ... 8O But of course, as Incanus already said, the music is important.

Greg1138 3
Not sure if I was fast enough for an autographed copy.....thesite id not say "Autographed Copies Run Out" type thing when I ordered, but I know that is no guarantee....we live in hope! Either way - I've been waiting to own a copy of this for a while and £15 (including shipping) for this score - esp as a limited edition - is a no-brainer. That is only a little more than a chart CD in the UK....
