I was surprised how hard this particular disc was to find at a decent price.

Where to start? Any suggestions?

Also this (not music but still very cool and unexpected - and cheep!):

O-o-oh, Matron!

Frying, tonight!

Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me!

"Where to start?"?

Begin with Michael Kamen's HIGHLANDER.

Nice one, Bes.

Turn your amp up to 11, for EARTHQUAKE EFFECTS.

Why do you want that I ruin my speakers?  That's not very kind.

I'm jesting, Bes, but it sounds good, loud.

I have plenty of Erich Kunzel Digital CDs with strange effects in it, I can ruin my speakers myself! :pfft:

I wouldn't be holding holding your breath.

I’ve been holding my breath for several years!

The 20th anniversary has come and gone though so it doesn’t look good.

I’d live with a sessions leak tbh.

It's not even that. Goldenthal and WB are not on friendly terms after the entire 300 fiasco.

Oh right, damn.

Better hope for a sessions leak so.

Who? Michael Collins? You'll have a long wait

Oh im well aware our military dictator in the making was shot in 1922.

Most likely be his own men. But hey!

I was just joshing. It's a good film. Rickman bears an uncanny likeness to de Valera.

He does!

I’d liked to have seen him take on the roll where the character actually resembled Dev though and not the pantomime villain Jordan made him out to be.

The Wind that Shakes the Barley is the definitive film about that period imo anyway.

The previous expansion of Dances with Wolves is quite sufficient, I believe. And the price is about £5.

I have that one, haven't listened to it yet. But that LLL looks so beautiful, I can't resist...

For me, I also have to consider what might sell out when planning my purchases. I've been burned before...

Took advantage of a Varese sale and picked up Family Plot for 5$ plus shipping!

Great find Fal! Does Varese write the actual value of the content on the package, or do they write a lower value to avoid customs?

PROVIDENCE. Nice.

I remember hearing the Valse Crépusculaire on a Rózsa compilation years ago and fell in love with it. I thought it was high time to get the entire score.
