No, but modifications can be made. I should probably see about that though, because I have these thicker 3 CD classical box sets that wouldn't work. Standard cases are a go though!

Both albums are worth owning!

I like the third one too but I read an old FSM interview with Kamen that mentioned something about him writing some material using Brahms 1st symphony that he used quite a lot in the score. None of it appears on the LLL set but it wasn't exactly clear from that interview whether any of that material was ever recorded. I wonder how complete is the LLL set in the light of this or whether there might be an alternate version of this score somewhere...

None of that rings any bells to me.  AFAIK the LLL Die Hard With A Vengeance is complete apart from some 2 seconds of drum roll tracked into the final part of the film just before the last cue

Maybe it was an idea they were toying with early and never recorded. Anyway, it was Kamen saying that he did adapt Brahms piece a lot but McTiernan didn't think it was as recognisable as Ode to Joy. I would love to hear this actually.

You can read the interview here (starts on page 12).

Enough new music to last me the rest of the year.

You have one month to listen to that...  after it'll be the new Superman: The Movie set, The Reivers 50Th Anniversary one, etc. etc. etc

No time to rest.

GO! GO! GO! QUICKER!

My package from Varese arrived with DRACULA and ON DEADLY GROUND

My package from Intrada arrived with WELCOME TO MARWEN, THE MUMMY, BALTO, BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED, and THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD

Batteries Not Included was in really cheap shrinkwrap; I'm guessing they opened up all their copies, added in the missing disc, and manually re-shrink-wraped them.  Oh well.
