Rather shabby playing by the Vienna Philharmonic (who probably hated the work and though it was beneath them). I like Herrman's Mars. In addition to the other ones I've mentioned I've also got the Gibson/Chandos, Solti/Decca, and Previn/EMI. I'll have to relisten to all of them to figure out which one I like the best.
