Tree at my window, window tree,
My sash is lowered when night comes on;
But let there never be curtain drawn
Between you and me.

Vague dream head lifted out of the ground,
And thing next most diffuse to cloud,
Not all your light tongues talking aloud
Could be profound.

But tree, I have seen you taken and tossed,
And if you have seen me when I slept,
You have seen me when I was taken and swept
And all but lost.

That day she put our heads together,
Fate had her imagination about her,
Your head so much concerned with outer,
Mine with inner, weather.

There was 667 people at the football today. We’re a hurling county 😂

it’s only February. The serious stuff starts in May and the attendances will rise.

250,000 people watched the Munster hurling Championship last year and the All-Ireland final will be an 82,000 sell out.

Where is that castle @Bilbo?

That’s the Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary. It sits on a hill outside the town. Seat of the King of Munster!

There’s a round tower and cathedral as part of the site. An abbey at the foot of it.

Well worth a visit if you’re ever in the country. They do a great tour.

Beautiful! Too bad it's falling apart instead of being restored. :(

Look at the second last picture, see the way the left side is a slightly brighter colour than the rest? It was taken apart and rebuilt brick by brick in an effort to preserve it. They do a great job with it. They’re doing everything they can to keep it!

That's good! Are they going to complete all of it, with roofs and all?

Nah, nothing like that. Just keeping it as it is and preserving it.

I had a hell of a time trying to photograph frogs this past September. This is one of about 100 pictures I snapped that day. They were real buggers of amphibians, these guys, but they kindly stopped to pose every now and again.

The side of a backwoods trail in Southwestern Ontario. The opportunity presented itself. This is from the summer of 2018 one of my adventure's, the same trip that got me those sunset photos from earlier, which have been posted on the Discord on occasion, in this thread, and in the mstrox thread.

One of many of this style: my signature "looking up the trunk" tree picture. My favourite, as the leaves prepare to change colour (you can already see some tints of orange and yellow). This was taken early autumn 2018.

@Bilbo, where was the bottom picture taken (the one of the ruin)?

It’s Hore Abbey in Cashel. It’s a ruined abbey at the foot of the Rock of Cashel from a few posts up.
