Maybe you should start before it's too late.

Alcohol is for those to whom the world is too much, drugs for those to whom it is too little.

Those words of profound wisdom were imparted by a character in a Finnish cartoon series Pasila. This very minute police officer who is wearing a pacifier was then talking to kids at school about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. I take my anecdotes only from the best sources.

:music: Braveheart. As much as I'm trying to discredit this score (due to its ridiculous levels of popularity in the 1990's) it always strikes me with its beauty whenever I revisit it. It's almost annoying how good and memorable it is. And the 2-hour expanded release did nothing to harm it.

Trump's first act as President should be to eliminate Michael Giacchino. Do what must be done!

Cappuccino is ripping off the economy with crummy music. He's a FAKE COMPOSER. Sad!

Star Trek Insurrection :music:

Great, like the other Goldsmith Trek scores.  The action music and underscore is more entertaining than its predecessor, First Contact, though there's nothing here that tops the music for the First Contact.

Poledouris -Free Willy, Robocop

Goldsmith, Night Crossing, Planet of the Apes and Escape from the Planet of the Apes

Russell Garcia's The Time Machine

and after having it almost a month, Ben-Hur. Mine is a 2CD release which must pale to the massive release from FSM, five discs I think it is. Great soundtrack though.

Don't feel bad about only having the 2-disc BEN-HUR; as it's all I've got, too. The Blu has an iso score, if you're interested.

Ps the others aren't too shabby, either. I'd love the expanded

E from the POTA.

Thanks, :) I'll be sure to try and find the Blu.

Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Herrmann.

High Road to China -John Barry

and Jerry Fielding's Gray Lady Down

Always seemed indifferent to Fielding. I don't mind him as such but sometimes the score doesn't sit right first off and then bam, it does. Swings and roundabouts.
