The Rage: Carrie 2

This was so awful, I think I liked it. Sure it lacked the bleak atmosphere and suspense of the '76 film, but it's still oddly watchable. Amy Irving returns and she's completely useless. The new psycho-kinetic chick is a charmer, I kinda liked her. I thought this was a TV movie until I looked it up and found they released it in cinemas!

Apparently it wasn't even written as a sequel originally. At least it's not as "ill-conceived' as the 2002 Carrie TV pilot, which is literally a crime procedural episode that happens to feature Carrie.

The original novel is an investigation into what happened, told before a Congressional committee.

It's just like how Cremers thinks that you can't appreciate Breaking Bad if you like Star Trek The Next Generation, though.

I would never say that. Even kids can enjoy Breaking Bad

Pay no mind to Quintus' weak attempts at covering up his disappointment at not being JWFan Pro material.

Correct, I'll never be anything like you. Big Chief Indian Quitter.

Absolutely! It would be wrong to treat it as forbidden fruit.

BTW, BB is not about drugs. Just like Mad Men is not a show about advertising.

Alex, I have no plans to watch BREAKING BAD, but I'd be interested to know your thoughts on MAD MEN, as it's been on my radar for some time.

It's one of my favorite shows, Richard. The writing (mostly on the human condition without being overly weighty or self-important) is an a literary level like The Wire. I don't know if you would like it though. What TV shows did impress you?

At some point someone must have realized that you mustn't pay Jack Nicholson Mio.$15 for acting in a movie called 'Anger Management' if he's not playing a very angry guy. It was probably too late by then.

Anger Management

This was so vulgar, it was hilarious. I keep hearing bad things about Adam Sandler movies, but I think these people need rage control. I need to see more of them!

It's one of the last good ones he was in.

Nope, your post is. Drugs is just a tool. It could have been anything. If you don't understand this, you should stick to whatever it is you like to stick to. Let me guess ... Criminal Minds?

Yep! It looks like a Joey show ...

Star Trek isnt about space either.

Yes I like Criminal Minds. Youre to fucking snobby to enjoy a serial killer procedural.

At least it doesn't glorify the villian

I'd say you're a perfectly average TV viewer judging by what's here.

TV and personal taste isn't a contest anyway.
