John Crichton 4
As promised Ricard, here is my cue sheet for The Patriot. I only timed and recorded what is on the OST, I didn't do the unreleased music.1. The Patriot- track 1 (Even though this is the same as the end credits, I still have it here because there is no real main titles music.)2. The Family Farm- track 2 (:24-:46 replaced with trakced statement of War Horror Theme in film)3. To Charlestown- track 34. Redcoats at the Farm and The Death Of Thomas- track 5- :46-end5. Rescuing Gabriel- track 9- 1:14-end (at 2:13 the cue is split in two by a small unscored bit)6. Ann Recruits the Parishoners- track 67. In Training/The First Ambushes- track 12- :00-1:208. Ann and Gabriel- track 89. Tavington's Trap- track 10- :00-2:0010. Remebering the Wilderness- track 9- :00- 1:1311. Burning of the Plantation- track 1112. Susan Speaks- track 14 (This one is a real enigma. :00-1:08 is in the film, I think 1:09-1:58 is tracked out right after, and 2:03-end is intended for Susan actually speaking, but was replaced.)13. The Parish Church Aflame- track 13 (The highlight of the score, IMO)14. Gabriel Seeks Revenge- track 10- 2:01-end15. Martin's Return- track 4- :00-:5016. Preparing for Battle- track 7- 2:07-end17. Tavington's Charge- track 5- :00-:4618. Surprise Counterattack- track 7- :00-2:0619. "Hold the line!"- track 4- :51-end20. Martin vs. Tavington- track 1521. Victory- track 4- :00-:50 (tracked from earlier)22. Yorktown and The Return Home- track 1623. End Credits- track 17When I was done, I realized I can't account for track 12, 1:21-end. I'm pretty sure that none of it is in the film, but I could be wrong. Feedback appreciated!
Ross 1
Thank you Obi-John! Even though The Patriot isn't among my favorite films, I always prefer to listen to scores in their chrono order.Thank you again! But may I suggest you post a recommended track ordering? :?: -ROSS The Battle of Yavin
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
Chrusher should have a very accurate and comprehensive complete cue sheet, since he created the DVD bootleg.Stefancos- who listened to that bootleg...once
Chris ChrusherComix 46
Yes... my cue sheet (with help from Jamesyboy) is complete. As is the rebel fleet's failure... I mean my bootleg... All of the music is pretty much in the film except for one small portion on the official CD, track 12. The 1st 2:00 is labeled track 29. "Accuracy & Precision" on my boot, and the following 1:04 segues into track 30. "Facing the British Lines" (Unused Portion). Oddly, this unused portion shows up in the deleted scenes. It is an alternate of "The Colonial Cause". It's on my tradelist (press my "webpage" button), or I'll repost it here:The Patriot: -Centropolis/Hollywood Records CD -Chrusherpromos/Towner Records Special Edition Expanded 2 CD-R Promo set (Now Available!!!) Unreleased portions may contain slight sound effects. Special thanks to Jamesyboy for his help identifying all the cues!!! BTW, Tavington has a motif. It is introduced in the film during his unreleased 1st apperance (Which I named "The Arrival of Colonel Tavington"* 0:32) and is featured on the official CD in "Tavington's Trap" (track 10, 0:31-0:34, and repeated throughout the 1st half of the track).Incidentally, Tavington's Trap is two cues... the 1st half is where Tavington sets a trap for "The Ghost", but escapes. The second portion is where Gabriel and part of the militia hunt Tavington down in an attempt for vengence. These are by far my two favorite cues from the film, wrapped convieniently into one track on the CD (although the latter is expanded in the film). John Crichton 4
But may I suggest you post a recommended track ordering? My recommended ordering would be:1-2-3-5-9-6-12-8-10-11-14-13-7-4-15-16-17but it is worth it to take the time and put it together like described above, if you have the means. And to anyone who uses it, you're welcome. The Patriot has always been an underrated score, IMO. It has a little bit of everything (action, tradegy, love), even though it does rely a lot on the main theme at the end, but it works within the movie, which is what matters most.John--who has also used Takis' cue sheet to make a film edit of AOTC, and is now impaitenly waiting for unresleased cues from any source available, and knowing he'll wait a while . And will try to stop referring to himself in the third peron .
