If it was 31 discs each with its own content then I can maybe justify it, but it comes with DVDs of the same content as the Blu-Rays. Make two different sets, one for Blu-Ray and the other for DVD. Stop forcing everyone to pay double.Besides, if the DVDs are as cheap as these companies say they are, then the price of this thing should be much lower. Maybe $150. Or no more than the LOTR set. Maybe they don't want to pay Leroy to sit down and actually process the isolated scores for attachment to the BluRay. Or maybe the BR producers are finally on to folks like us. Josh500 1,615 Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Yeah, harry potter is one of the best, and stayed consistently well-made throughout the entire series, and never really dipped in quality (imo), and there's not much franchises that don't do that, much less an 8-film-series franchise.Quality wise, I think the series has its highs and lows. Highs being PS/SS, POA, OOTP, DH2 to banal mediocrity being COS, GOF, HBP, with DH1 being somewhere in the middle.Yeah, like in any other franchise: James Bond, even Indiana Jones and Batman, etc.______________________Btw, why should I get this set?In a few years we will be getting the REALLY COMPLETE 42-disc set anyway!
