Naïve Old Fart 9,511 Posted August 1, 2012 Share Posted August 1, 2012 JAWS was budgeted at 3 or 4 millions - the price tag it finally reached never would have passed the laughing stage at Universal if they would've tried to get it greenlighted at that budget.I'd love to get my hands on one of those "1941" "I won't make this film, if it goes over xxxx-million dollars" t-shirts.
