Thor 7,492
Great find! A small glimpse into a particular time and space. One can only wonder what would have come out of more collaborations between Williams and Hitchcock if the director had made more movies.

Popular Post Cerebral Cortex 3,357
Accidentally found a picture of the man himself golfing with composer Stephen Edwards. Even when golfing, Williams can't find it in himself to break away from his standard attire. It was in this tweet, which also contains a rather sweet letter written by Williams to Edwards regarding the requiem Stephen wrote to his mother. Maybe the most amazing letter I've ever gotten - about @StephenEdwards6 Requiem airing on 5/14 on @PBS #JohnWilliams #StarWars #composer pic.twitter.com/DxiVOlj135 — Stephen Edwards (@StephenEdwards6) May 14, 2017 Alex, Loert and Incanus

I don't even swing my clubs that well other than to air conduct a phrase or two. You need better golfer than me for this. Popular Post Cerebral Cortex 3,357
Stumbled upon this one the other day of a pic taken during the recording of Superman and I had never seen it before. From left to right, you have Eric Tomlinson (the music mixer), film director André De Toth, Ilya Salkind, Christopher Reeve, John Williams, Richard Donner. Kinda neat. And I also stumbled upon this rather humorous image someone posted on Twitter regarding a glitch in their radio stream, which I found amusing: Will, Not Mr. Big, Smeltington and 5 others 7

Omen II 1,235
The photos of John Williams with C3PO and R2D2 at the Royal Albert Hall almost certainly date from 1978. Williams conducted the London Symphony Orchestra in a concert entitled LSO In Space on 16th February 1978, famously sharing conducting duties with the camp robot. The concert featured music from Star Wars and "other great space music". I wonder who the two young ladies are and why they appear to be dressed in Edwardian outfits. Perhaps they are ghosts! Damien F 1,742
I was on Dublin's tram system on a part of the line that I don't usually frequent and I did a double-take when I saw this at one of the stops. I really thought it was JW for a second especially as he is wearing the same type of hat as JW is in those London Star Wars pics. Which made me think - there really should be a cool piece of graffiti like this celebrating JW somewhere, maybe in Boston or LA. I actually have no idea who this guy is.
