It's not, I meant his general punny or self-referential track titles, etc

You're aware Williams is returning for Episode VII, right?

Humor. It is a difficult concept.

Planet of the End Credits.

Funny.

I don't get it. What's the joke?

It's not a "joke" per say, just taking the name of the movie and making a track title out of in, like The Incredits or End Creditouilles.

Or John End Credits.

Or...

Star End Credits, End Super Credits, Monte End Credits, Medal of Credits, Let Me End Credits....

I'm cracking up here!

It would be awesome if Michael channels the Goldsmith funkyness of Escape from Planet of the Apes! You know he can do it. Or at least, the avant-garde original score.

BloodBoal's titles sound more down to earth.

"Dam them all to hell", "Aped Crusaders" .... Jesus!

Those are two great cue names!

  • 2 weeks later...

New video with 50 seconds of Giacchino's score?:

I can't seem to find a yawning emoticon...

Sounds like typical Giacchino, and not the fun kind either.

Well, I thought it sounded fine. Sure it wasn't as exciting as when Ode To Harrison debuted in this way around this time last year, but I'm sure this music is appropriate for the movie.

And wow - Giacchino conducted himself instead of Ludwig Wicki!

Well, I can't say I'm surprised.

I definitely wouldn't class The Incredits or Married Life as just 'okay'.

Good cues, among Giacchino's best. Would never rank them up there with film music's best.

Ode to Harrison was exciting?

I don't know what people see in that piece...
