Enjoyed this episode.  I mean, there is dead air every week with this show, but it doesn't really bother me I guess.  I'm enjoying this version of Twin Peaks more than the original, frankly.

That's what I was hoping my reaction would be going in, especially after the beginning 2hr special. The setup of those opening beats, it was sooooo mouth watering to me.

 

But no, the original series is where it's at as far as my own enjoyment of this fiction is concerned. Apples and oranges though really, init. I don't think that's how it should be, but that's where it is.

 

I've never seen anything so disjointed and inconsequential. For instance; this week had that long scene at the tree in the woods between scumbag whathisface and that girl from 25 years ago at Doc Haywards house... I DO NOT GIVE A TOSS ABOUT THESE CHARACTERS.

 

I won't convert "dead air" into some sort of pseudo merit.

Loved this episode. And the way the handled the Log Lady, plus Ed and Norma was absolutely spot on
