Lee takes the piss out of me for liking Doctor Who.We are all geeks here. And we all like to make fun of each others different little obsessions. But Basil spends far too much time trying to defend himself. Those extremely long posts explaining why its OK to like MLP don't work. Far easier to say."Hey, I love the show, I'm sorry you dont. Get over it!"In the end of the day it's just another TV show. Like Star Trek, Who, Sherlock, GoT.Indeed. The problem was never that he liked the show. It was the insulting, accusatory manner in which he reproached everyone about his interests. I stayed out of it, but the need to justify it with articles, video clips, and the opinions of others was entirely unnecessary and instead exposed more of his insecurity about the matter. If you like the show, then good for you and justify it with your OWN opinions. Why should someone else take you seriously if you can't defend yourself and rely on others' opinions to "protect" yours?
