No. I said Beltrami's work often sounds workman-like to me. But Knowing is badass. He has a couple of gems under his wing.

Check out Knowing Grey. You'll like that one. A cool mix of Goldmsith and Herrmannisms. Effective stuff.

I constantly have Yared's themes from Cold Mountain going through my head.

I read Clemmenson's review with some disappointment - the stuff he calls 'piano/string' meandering works fantastically in context.
