I like that score for sure, but come out - 2012 was the year of An Unexpected Journey AND John Carter AND Lincoln AND Horner's Spider-man!

Agreed minus John Carter which sucks

John Carter was a great score for a really underrated film. Half-baked how? I think it's really well baked :) and even the ending works for me emotionally speaking, though they was clearly planning planning on a sequel which will alas never come to be.

This means no follow-up to the best score from 2012. This is a very sad day.

That's really too bad; I like those movies.

Good fun adventure with accompanying scores.

Why does The Rock matter though? He wasn't in the first film either.

They could do a third one with a different actor again.

What's Brendan Fraser doing these days anyway?

Likewise! I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel.

But that's not happening, so I'm slowly reading through the books instead.

I loved the film, but I also understand why audiences and critics were underwhelmed. My reaction is almost the same as Tomorrowland, the other unfortunate major Disney flop.
