They should get more scripts from DC Fontana.  She was the heart of the original show having scripted some of the great Bones/Spock/jim friendship episodes and she's the same age as Pickard so if they can get him back, they should get her too.

Is Discovery really this lame?

It's a pretty good approximation of DSC season 2 storytelling.

Stick to The Orville mate. It's better than everything.

Would you like me to start posting in the Video Game thread more? ;)

S1 starts off okay-ish (that is, if you really have nothing else to watch) but during the second half of the season it becomes one of the worst TV shows in history. JWFan's slogan 'Star Trek is better than everything' just makes me laugh.

Michael Giacchino to direct a Star Trek short. Hopefully he will be a better director than composer.

Well that is consistent with your taste levels.

Criminy! Will your hard-headed and insolent comments ever end? You're becoming a very toxic member.

Quote

Star Trek fans in Canada are having a little too much fun with their $5 bills.

The bill features a portrait of Canada’s seventh prime minister, Sir Wilfrid Laurier.  Star Trek fans have taken to drawing pointy ears and a Vulcan haircut on the bill, transforming Sir Laurier into Lieutenant Spock.
