Hans Zimmer scoring Inferno

Mr. Who

Recommended Posts

Sounds more in line with Chappie than his other works. I think his team may have more of a hand to play in this one.

There does seem to be an expansion of the Angels and Demons material though ("Science and Religion" and "160 BPM").

The film? It was a much-needed improvement. More aware of what type of films these really are.

These films/books are a guilty pleasure of mine.  That said, I thought the Da Vinci Code movie was on the lower side of average, and managed to make an interesting (though outlandish) story pretty boring. Ron Howard, the patron saint of mediocre directors, seems to have learned his lesson and found a way to deliver the plot without so much yawn inducing exposition in Angels & Demons (perhaps because Koepp was involved), which was a lot of fun and a significant improvement.  If he made Da Vinci Code today, I think he'd make very different decisions.
