New re-issue of Mahalia Jackson's "Great Songs of Love and Faith" (1962), with John Williams conducting:

Out of curiosity, one of the musicians on the other album represented on this CD, "Make a Joyful Noise Unto the World", conducted by  Edward Robinson, was Williams father, Johnny Williams, sharing the drums credits with Shelley Manne.

Please don't add releases too soon before their actual release date.

The Wiki article is not a crystal ball or a marketing tool, it's a discography listing objects that exists.

Okay 2012, according to the pic. I know they reissued it digitally, but I didn't know they did a CD too. Only in Japan it seems.

Ah, so I see that my occasional sentence on Canadian culture has influenced your outlook on us. There are things that are more Canadian than squirrels. Par exemple, skinning a squirrel and making a fur hat.

Hi Bes,

In your goplanete discography the last reissue annotated from Peter Gunn is the 2006 digital download (TP4 Music), but in iTunes the last reissue is from Sony Music Entertainment (2014); is that a legal one? In your wikipedia page, the last one you have is the 2003 RCA Victor. Also, there is an album from American Jazz Classics https://www.amazon.com/Music-Peter-Gunn-HENRY-MANCINI/dp/B00305ICHK/ref=sr_1_3?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1546473113&sr=1-3&keywords=peter+gunn that include both albums by Henry Mancini (the music from and more music from) and an album conducted by Pete Candoli and another conducted by Ted Nash; is this also legal?

OK I will update the wiki concergning the 2006 digital reissue, it's a forget, Thanks!  Hard to know if it's legal, and it's hard to list all of the digital releases...

Well a think is sure, this album is not currently easy to find on a legit physical release for now, so you have to listen to some clips on the online stores!

Thanks for maintaining this thread and the wiki list.

I have been going through my collection to see what I am missing, particularly on the concert works, and I noticed today that Hymn to New England is on the Denver Brass John Williams album (track 11). I did not see that on the wiki in the concert pieces section under that grouping, and so I wasn't sure if that was just missing or not there for some other reason. I do know that album is listed under other concert works, so seems like we just have to add it here to for the Hymn.

I'm also happy to add things I find like that (if any), or post here as requested.

Thanks.
